In reading Steve’s post, I see that Carol Shea-Porter got mad and invoked a law protecting her "property". I will agree with that – her money (her campaign money) paid for the sign. I get it – if I were in the same spot, I’d want the same protection of what I had created with my efforts.
Remember, Carol Shea-Porter DID take MY property, in which I have invested time, talent, and money to create (same as her). She got upset with Bob Nickerson for stealing her property (and I got upset with her for taking my intellectual property). She used the law to force redress….and got the force of Government to make it right.
I decided to try the conservative approach – and not immediately call Government to solve the problem. I called WMUR and they said there was nothing they could do (politicians have written laws to protect themselves). I called and contacted her campaign office (email, phone) several times – nada.
She keeps saying that she is "for the people" – seems that’s only true when it suits her. Respect for others? Nope – as shown by her performance on WMUR’s Close-up this morning, she’s just like Obama described: she’s just another angry and bitter clinger. No, not to guns and religion – but to Power. Above the law, and we’d better like what she legislates…
Carol Shea-Porter – Privileged Status for her, and nothing for the little people? No, not really – she’s just an arrogant Progressive that believes that the laws are for her use only – she doesn’t have to obey them herself.
So Carol, when are you going to apologize? Oops – too late:
OH, Carol? I found a lawyer – we’re going to sue.
Filed under "Progressives" – they use Government against others when necessary; ignore it when they do wrong.
