We’ve now gotten this from several sources. Portsmouth businessman and activist leader Jack Kimball, perhaps best known for the many messages displayed on busy Route 1 for thousands of passing motorists,
has issued an email statement to friends and supporters which says, in part:
Patriots & Allies,
I would like to announce to all of you that I have decided to run for the Governorship of this great State. This decision has been a long time in coming but after many months of thought and discussion, I have decided that the best way for me to fight for my Country and our State is to lead the charge in taking our State back from the radical Liberals that have worked so hard to bankrupt us. Right now, the corner office is devoid of Leadership and Integrity and it’s time we get both of those attributes back. All of you have come to know me by now (some more than others) and you have seen, first hand, my passion and love for our Country and our State. But you have also seen that I am willing to take the lead in this fight.
Folks, I believe that there is no tomorrow. I believe that we are at a crossroads in our Country and our State. We either stand up and fight to remove those people from office who would harm us or we will surely lose everything. The upcoming mid-term elections are the most significant and impacting in my lifetime. In fact, they are probably the most important in our history. I will need each and every one of you to back me up as we all know that the Democratic attack dogs will be out in force. The difference is that I am up for the fight and we will give as good as we get. So, I ask you to join me in this battle because I believe that the first step toward taking back our Country is to take back the States.
Jack will be in studio tomorrow morning as our guest on MTNP radio starting at 9AM to chat the issues and take phone calls (603-527-1490) as he begins to detail the begining steps in his quest for the Republican nomination for Governor. (WEMJ 1490 AM -live streamed and podcasted at GraniteGrok) His website is here. Seacoast Online has a story here. NHPoliticalReport originally called it first here.
Let the games begin!
