Democrats passed ObamaCare.  They fought for it for most of year, and have defended lied about it ever since.  And it is a smoldering, craptastic disaster.  This is a bill sold as a way to get coverage for the uninsured, but as with all things democrats do, it actually incentivize people to go without any insurance at all.

Most of the reasons the Left gave for needing this reform were not true to begin with, so was that the plan all along?  To promise universal or near universal coverage as cover for driving people out of the insurance market?

“How about we screw young people over so severely that they bail on coverage altogether…oh, uh, after we get them to vote for us.”

You guys are the experts?  The smart ones?  How could this be a mistake?  You wrote the law so this has to be intentional.

Matt Drudge advertised the fact that he had to make his first NoBamaCare fine payment for not having insurance.  The left and lefty media went nuts.

Premise?  Tax /Fine /Fee not due to start until 2015, Drudge is lying for political points.  Reality.  Many if not most self-employed/business owners pay taxes quarterly for the next tax year.  The next tax year is 2014.  This is the first quarter of that tax year.  C. Democrats lied to pass ObamaCare and continue to lie as it fails on all points because it could never be anything more than a big unwieldy machine that denied you choices.  ObamaCare took what worked for you, made it unworkable, then forced you to find a way to comply.

And while we can debate just how much it intervenes between you and your doctor, or your hospital, its biggest abuse is that it intervened between you and your ability to decide these things without having to dance to some pencil-pusher’s broken tune.  A dirge played by an unreachable, unelected, faceless bureaucracy.  A solution that will leave more people uninsured than before we had it, and everyone else worse off for the trouble.

Watch the issue of “domicile” have meaning to Democrats now that they have set their teeth into a possible Republican candidate for Governor.

Our State Constitution requires a person to live in NH for seven consecutive years to be a legitimate candidate for several offices. That has never bothered the Democrats, especially the former party chair Kathy Sullivan who ran an out of state voter flophouse from her residence for vote thief Geoff Wetrosky. But let any hint of ineligibility taint the candidate for an opposing party and we have a sudden dedication to written words in statutes and the NH Constitution.

Enter one Walter Havenstein, a Republican candidate for NH Governor who is domiciled in NH but has a residence in Maryland .

We know Democrats don’t really care about jobs or the economy, or expanding oil and natural gas projects would be at the top of the list.  These energy development projects would be self-funded (no taxpayer boondoggles), and would require the oil and gas companies to invest their own cash on materials, employees, wages, and benefits, all of which would inject new revenue into the economy while lessening dependency on taxpayer-funded support systems.

We know democrats don’t want that. It could also mean affordable energy, lower gas prices, warmer winters, which Democrats also seem to oppose.  What I don’t get is why they would object to the government and the states involved earning more tax revenue without having to raise or add taxes?  (Did that question just answer itself?)

So how about another incentive, particularly when it comes to the keystone XL Pipeline?  According to the environmental left–depending on what day of the week it is, Koch industries could lose billions.

More oil would lower prices and cost them profits.

Koch’s oil production in northern Alberta is “negligible,” according to industry sources and quarterly publications of the provincial government. Moreover, Koch has not reserved any space in the Keystone XL pipeline, a process that usually takes place before a pipeline is built.
