When You Get What’s Coming To You…

Aggressive driver in a big pick-em-up truck tailgates you, drives by and flips you the bird–and makes sure you see it (that’s in the video – you have been duly informed),  then as he speeds past you, loses control, and spins out across several lanes to land in the grassy median.   No injuries reported. Justice?  … Read more

GrokSHOTS! Pete Ingemi Renders Skip Speechless…

Pete Ingemi renders Skip speechless.  How? Skip want’s to know why, if Scott Brown made it past the primary, and we were left with him or Jeanne Shaheen, what difference would it make? Pete Ingemi (who supports Karen Testerman, by the way) has a very good answer… Why Scott Brown?..(1 min. 54 sec) Listen to … Read more

The Next Best Least Worst ObamaCare Strategy For Troubled Democrats?

Healthcare costsThere is a good deal of debate about what Democrats running for office should do about ObamaCare.  That, in and of itself, is instructive; there was an aggressive disinformation campaign against the legislations opponents, supporters of the bill lied or repeated lies, the President has had to break the law–literally, and now faced with re-election, Democrats are wondering what to say to ensure none of that has consequences?

One of the nation’s leading Democratic pollsters and strategists is urging embattled House and Senate incumbents to abandon their defense of Obamacare and instead pledge to “fix it.

Interesting tack considering how much political blood and treasure was spent to convince America that ObamaCare WAS THE FIX to what ailed our so-called unfair and unworkable Health Care system.

Celinda Lake, whose firm Lake Research Partners provided the Democratic analysis of the new George Washington University Battleground Poll released Tuesday morning, summed up her advice to Democrats when it comes to Obamacare: “Don’t defend it.”

Joni Ernst – ‘Let’s Make Em’ Squeal’

Charles Cooke is probably right.  This ad does have the greatest opening line in the history of political ads.  And if it’s not the best opening, it is damn close. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=p9Y24MFOfFU H/T Ace of Spades

Texas Has a Name For Scott Brown

The Union leader opines on the impending campaign of Scott Brown and the left’s contortions as a result (and how Shaheen is 99% Obama). Shaheen Pushing People’s Pledge, But it’s Just More Speech Intimidation

Shaheen Koch and a Smile
Is Jeanne Shaheen #addictedtokoch ?

Senator Jeanne Shaheen can’t run on anything she has done because 99% of it ties her directly to an unpopular president and his even more unpopular health care law.  There are no coat-tails.  No leadership, Shaheen is a follower.  And the momentum is against her.   So why not take a populist position on campaign spending and see if you can get the press to carry your water for you?

I love that game.  When NH Senate candidate Paul ‘Hot Dog’ Hodes (who lost to Sen. Ayotte) played the I’m an outsider card, I buried him with dozens of posts showing his ties to all the inside money DC has to offer.  Shaheen?  Same problem.  So while she is telling New Hampshire to tell Scott brown to take the people’s pledge (even though Brown isn’t even running yet), I figured we should take a look at what that really means and frame that in the context of her typical campaign donor spending profile.

Prager U – What is Social Justice

On The Anniversary of ObamaCare — A Moment of Silence

A moment of Silence - For the Victims of ObamaCare...
A moment of Silence – For the Victims of ObamaCare…

March 23rd was ObamaCare’s 4th Birthday.   No fanfare?  No celebrations?  No parades?  No Birthday cake?

Taking Skip’s lead, I checked the NH Federal delegation House and Senate Web Sites for Jeanne Shaheen, Carol Shea-Porter, and Ann Kuster.  There were no press releases, no statements, not even a tweet about the 4th anniversary of the glorious passage of ObamaCare.

Were there even odes to Health Care policy?
