Where Is NH Media on A Gun Running Politician?

liberal-media-bias1In case there is any doubt that there is a media preference for Democrats let’s just clear that up…Again.

A quick search of three local Newspapers near me, provides some perspective.

I Searched three items.  Leland Yee, the gun-running anti-gun Democrat State Senator from CA, Wendy Davis–a Democrat State senator from TX (and candidate for governor of TX), and the Trayvon Martin shooting.  So we have Guns, stories from outside NH, and stories about State Senators, along with women and minorities.  It’s a Progressive Party Salad of news story potential.

Democrat War On Work – Are You Pivoting From ObamaCare to Jobs Because ObamaCare Kills Jobs?

Yesterday I observed what has been observed rightly, from the right, for years.  ObamaCare can’t help but kill jobs.

H/T Twitchy.com
H/T Twitchy.com

I know, wasn’t ObamaCare a jobs Bill?  Sure.  Everything Democrats passed in 2009 and 2010 was a jobs bill.  Commemorating post offices was a jobs bill.  Defunding abstinence education to pay for more abortions was a jobs bill.  Evert time Pelosi flapped her lips the spittle created jobs as it fell to earth.  It’s in the Progressive book of the People Champions, I swear.   So is Pelosi’s legendary act of creating jobs and growth by unemploying people.

And on the seventh day she rested, flying friends and cronies family cross-country in government planes at taxpayer expense with a fully stocked bar and pricey munchies–which also created jobs, and this was good.

Brown Note

I like some variety in the posts but sometimes you have to follow the wave, so here’s my latest contribution. I took a look at GovTrack.org to see where some folks fell on their US Senate ideological graph–based on voting records.  Visuals can be very helpful in times like these. Senator Brown is left of … Read more

Where Is the NH Democrat Party Outrage Over A Gun-Running State Senator? [Updated]

Gun Grabbers - A Special Kind Of StupidDemocrats hate it when people not employed by the state have firearms.  New Hampshire Democrats are no different.  Every policy decision on guns leads toward the accumulation of force in the hands of bureaucrats and lawmakers at the expense of regular citizens.  (See also: peasants.)  So you’d think that a story about a state Senator, an elected official by-passing the very same enhanced background check system on which Progressives everywhere wish to model their own incremental advance toward a force monopoly,  would be ample fuel for that particular ideological fire?

Where is the outrage, the press releases, the sound-bites from progressives policy wonks, politicians, and talking heads?  Why hasn’t CNN or MSNBC given the story of a gun-running elected official even a sliver of a fraction of the attention paid to a few bright orange road-cones on bridge in New Jersey?

Because Principle Matters to The Base – We Bring You The NH Senate Race Poison Poll

Inspired by Pete Da Tech Guy Ingemi, we here at Da Grok, bring you the NH Republican Senate primary Poison poll.

Why?

Because people who vote Republican, see also ‘Da Base,’ have shown a consistent willingness to stay home or to vote for someone other than the Republican, when the candidate they have been provided can’t be trusted to vote based on platform principles.  This, in turn, affects down ticket races, giving Democrats an opportunity to run the ship of state back into the rocks at every level of government.

The fact is….”Not being the Democrat,” it’s not enough.   The way a candidate votes matters.  Every vote matters.  So start thinking about that as we consider which of the GOP candidates currently vying to challenge Jeanne “Obama is so Dreamy” Shaheen is most likely to keep the base at home on election night 2014.

North Carolina Releases Massive Vote Fraud Report

We’ve got some friends in North Carolina who help us track the non-residents registering and voting in New Hampshire and multiple states so it’s no surprise to us someone down there did a multi-state cross check and found News that will only come as a surprise to Democrats who are not actually in on the … Read more

I Wish The Hell They’d Leave Me Alone

In the brand new category of “You Can’t Make This Stuff Up With A High Speed Computer,” the former police thug and now select thug in Atkinson, Phil Consentino, complains:

“I wish they’d leave me the Hell alone,” Consentino said.

That is a quote by the loser of so many suits against the Town of Atkinson it is hardly worth mentioning any longer, except that Atkinson pays – NOT the Thug.  What is worth mentioning is the Consentino Circle of Power that enables this abuser of female employees in the Town Hall to exist.

Chief among the enablers is what serves as the local Atkinson , NH paper, the Lawrence Eagle Tribune, which does puff piece after puff piece supporting this creep.

They let this thug complain about the very public release of an eight page sexual harassment complaint to the NH Human Rights Commission which resulted in a $100,000.00 (Not $50,000) out of court settlement the Town paid to an employee Consentino was after.

The Lawrence Eagle Tribune has a copy of that complaint with all the details and they will not even ask the basic questions one would normally associate with a real newspaper.

Something NH Senator Jeanne Shaheen Is Actually Good At

Shaheen Koch and a Smile
Lying for Lawyers…

Democrat promises are not much different from everyone elses lies.  Yes, ObamaCare is the biggest example, and there is Benghazi, among others.  But I’m more interested in this whole income (in)equality thing.

Remember the Lilly Ledbetter act?  Carol Shea-Porter and Jeanne Shaheen promoted this legislation as the solution to workplace wage equality.  The DCCC even included it in their annual Ruin Thanksgiving Talking points in 2010.  Lilly Ledbetter “restored” the rights of women and other workers to challenge unfair pay and to close the so-called wage gap.  They already had that right but doesn’t it sound so much better with some liberal angst and drivel poured over the top?

In a January 22nd, 2009 Press release Senator Shaheen wrote.

The Act ensures that all Americans are paid the same wage regardless of their age, gender, race or ethnicity.

That was five years ago and every year since then, Shaheen has celebrated the anniversary of ‘ensuring that all Americans are paid the same wage‘ by taking credit for it while observing that there is still more work to be done.

But if you fixed it you wouldn’t have to bring it back up.  If you didn’t fix it, what did that legislation actually “ensure” and who really benefited from it?

Pelosi Pivots From ObamaCare to Jobs…

“..while we’re proud of the Affordable Care Act, we now pivot to jobs.” … “Well let me just say, those of us who fought for this (ObamaCare) knew what we believed in and really don’t think we needed any vindication,” she responded. “We just had to protect it from those ideological anti-government people who didn’t … Read more

Democrats Celebrate Re-insuring Most of The People They Kicked Off The Plan They Were Told They Could Keep…

Democrats brag about enrolleesThe spin to make 7 million so-called sign ups appear like a major embrace of ObamaCare is, as with all things Democrat, deceptive.  We don’t really know the true numbers.  We also do not know how many people have a policy or if they have made a single payment.  Then there’s the eggs they had to break to make their omelette.

ObamaCare has kicked at least 6 million people off the plan they liked and were told they could keep.  It created an immediate need for at least 6 million people.  So yes, most of those 7 millions “new enrollees” come from the forcibly uninsured.  People driven into the government monopoly by the mandate itself.

SCOTUS Strikes Down Aggregate Limits On Campaign Contributions

“The Supreme Court Tom Steyer must be ecstatic.  He can now donate the max limit to every Democrat from here to his Environmental Nirvana and it’s not illegal.  But then so can everyone else.  That would be because SCOTUS just struck down the aggregate limit on total donations by an individual to all candidates on free speech grounds.

It is a modern reality.  You need to spend money in 21st century America to reach enough people to have your voice heard.

Rape Culture

Blue Hampshire Resets Democrat Cynthia ChaseAccording to liberals sex education should start as early as possible.  Condoms, the pill, abortions, and day after pills are rights that girls of all ages are entitled to and parents should have little or no say in the matter.  Objections to the over-sexualization of children by “professionals” or the culture are backwards and ill-informed, as is the idea of opposing the hook-up culture or supporting or funding any kind of abstinence education.

Shaman’s at UN Predict End of the World (Again) if We Keep Ignoring their Climate Voodoo

algorevoodooThe Shaman’s at the United Nations Intergovernmental Plunderers for Climate Cash (IPCC) have eyed the computerized goat-entrails yet-again and determined that the failure of sinners to repent will result in even greater global pain and suffering than all previous predictions combined, or something.  (Pick up your environmentally friendly ‘The end is Near” sandwich boards at the nearest participating-Nation embassy.)

On the other side of this absence of debate (sorry, there was vigorous IPCC debate over how to explain away the lengthy cooling period we are in), we have the NIPCC.  The Nongovernmental International Panel scientists, which are not funded by the UN or governments seeking power and taxpayer dollars to battle the chimera of Climate change, also releases a report for policy makers, to give them some contrast to the entrail-reading Shaman’s at the UN.

Noable Quote – Michael Goodwin

Obama’s Chickens come home to roost ObamaCare is the domestic expression of the president’s ineptitude. It is proving so unworkable that the White House has given up defending it as … Read more

Sure, I Ruined Health Care – But Let’s Not Talk About That…

Free speech under assault againNew Hampshire Democrats are attacking Scott Brown as if he is running for Senate in New Hampshire.  Me too.  Scott Brown should be running in Massachusetts where many Democrats and a lot of Republicans are just like Scott Brown; Blue dogs, or blue-collar Democrats.  But that’s not how the landscape is laid out.  For the time being the Brown RINO likes the smell of Granite and I expect he’s here until the primary.

So New Hampshire Democrats, fearful that the Brown Democrat can beat their Green one, are going after him with this thing called the People’s Pledge, a nearly worthless gesture that pretends to address the so-called issue of outside influence.  It doesn’t.  (And I only bring it up because it could appear in the face of whomever wins the primary.)  All the Pledge does is give embattled Democrats who can’t defend the destruction of the American health Care system an ‘Oh yeah?!’  as in, ‘Oh yeah?!, well why hasn’t Scott Brown signed the People’s Pledge?

Why?  Could it be because he isn’t even officially running for the Senate – yet?
