Rep Stephen Shurtleff Should Move To Paris

Stephen ‘Deputy Dawg’ Shurtleff is not very happy about the legislators voting to allow concealed firearms in the House chamber.  I can see why.  The last time the  New Hampshire House refused to disarm representatives just so they could serve (2011-2012) nothing happened. In related news, ‘officials’ acting on behalf of the government in Paris … Read more

CNN Keeps The Narrative Alive. ALIVE!

LIBYA Embassy Attack Benghazi - Will Clinton take the fall?Remember that awful, horrible, just awful YouTube Video?  The one that for two weeks was the focus of the Obama Administrations explanation for the ‘spontaneous’ attack on the US Embassy in Benghazi?  The one they lied about for weeks?  Yeah, that one.

WMUR News 9 has just posted a story from CNN on the Terrorist attack on Paris Weekly Charlie Hebdo and the papers history of controversy that includes this paragraph:

In September 2012, as France was closing embassies in about 20 countries amid the global furor over the anti-Islam film “Innocence of Muslims,” the magazine published an issue featuring a cartoon that appeared to depict a naked Mohammed, along with a cover that appeared to depict Mohammed being pushed in a wheelchair by an Orthodox Jew.

Twenty-eight months later and CNN is laying fresh blame on the video?

Presumption of Guilt is Absolutely Crucial to Collectivism

[su_quote style=”default” cite=”” url=”” class=””](Red State) This presumption of guilt is absolutely crucial to collectivism.  The Left must teach its subjects to think of themselves as criminals.  That’s the only way law-abiding people will endure levels of coercive power that would normally require specific accusations, a fair trial, and the possibility of appeals.  Social-justice … Read more

Democrats Knew Exactly What We Were Doing

(NRO) The CIA official who ran the agency’s enhanced-interrogation program in the years immediately following the 9/11 attacks said that congressional leaders who are now up in arms over harsh interrogation tactics once criticized him for not being tough enough on terrorist detainees. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=o3y8VTLBTDI

House Rules

Why is it that, in New Hampshire, towns are prohibited from establishing “no firearms” policies at selectmen and school board meetings, and in their public town facilities? And why is it that, as long as you adhere to New Hampshire State law, you are, in fact technically allowed to carry a concealed firearm within 1000 feet … Read more

Shawn Jasper – “Unfortunately, There Are Those Looking To Distort and Distend The Story…”

Jasper-Knifes-GOPRepublican Rep Al Baldasaro has a bad hip, and speaks at the well often, so he always requests an aisle seat on the House Floor so he can get to the podium to speak with less discomfort to himself or to others;  Democrat elected House Speaker Shawn Jasper assigned him a seat in the middle of a row.

A representative out of Northwood (not a huge fan of Jasper would be my guess) who has been on Criminal Justice for four years requested that committee assignment again.  When the rep asked Democrat elected Speaker Jasper why he was not back on that committee, Jasper’s only response was, “You know why.”

Palin’s Revenge

Facepalm - Which Progressive Utopia will fail firstDemocrats stumbled in to 2015, tripping over their own hypocrisy and landing flat on their collectivist faces.  Locally, the party that adored high-ranking Democrats from within the Ku Klux Klan demanded that a New Hampshire Congressman call for the resignation of a guy from Louisiana who briefly spoke at a hotel where White Supremacists would later gather — twelve years ago.

A bit less historically distant, PETA and the professional liars on the left (The Democrat party) blasted Sarah Palin for posting a picture of her son Trig using the Dog as a step stool.  The Dog clearly did not care, but the left did.  The Palin’s were horrible parents, blah blah blah. The left and PETA cared so much they forgot that PETA’s woman of the Year, Ellen DeGeneres, posted a similar picture to oohs and ahh’s from the ranks of the Obama-Loving Palin haters.

Palin’s response to it all?   ‘Chill. At least Trig didn’t eat the dog. ‘

Does Chairman Ray Buckley Even Know He Is A Racist?

Ray Buckley with Obama right behind him. Barry is smiling

New Hampshire Democrat chair Raymond Buckley supports raises for public union employees regardless of the state of the economy.  He has never once complained nor concerned himself (to my knowledge) about Congressional raises under Democrat majorities.  But now he is appalled at the idea that Republicans in the US Senate opposed a minimum wage increase (7 months ago) but will accept a 2800 dollar cost of living increase they could not possibly have repealed under Democrat Harry Reid.

I should point out that I don’t think anyone in congress should be getting any kind of adjustment to their compensation that is not on a steep downward slope in both pay or benefits.   In exchange for a significant and “generous reduction” I would accept a substantial decrease in hours spent in Washington DC.

As for Mr. Buckley, his new found pretend-outrage over congressional pay comes with a different cost of doing business.  It appears that he would exchange the $2800 dollar cost of living increase for votes that would actually cause financial harm and hardship to the people he claims would benefit.

Judge Dismisses Case Against William Baer

william-baer-arrestBilly Baer was arrested in May 2014 at a Gilford School board meeting for speaking out about a book the school district gave to his 14 year-old daughter to read for class..  The book was ‘Nineteen Minutes.’  it included sexually explicit and violent content to which Bear rightly objected.  Baer was arrested and charged.  His case has just been thrown out by a Circuit court judge.

(Union Leader) Circuit Court Judge James M. Carroll said Baer, while said to be unruly at the meeting, was exercising his right to free speech at the meeting and should not have been arrested, an act that Carroll described as “chilling.”

“…individuals, from time to time, may be disruptive but the disruptiveness should not be cause for an arrest,” Carroll wrote in his decision.
