RICO Letter Take-down Leads to Congressional Investigation

shukla-photo-google

Jagdish Shukla asked the president (of the United States) to use the threat of racketeering charges to silence scientific dissent. Two weeks later and Shukla faces a congressional investigation.

Chairman Smith: “IGES appears to be almost fully funded by taxpayer money while simultaneously participating in partisan political activity by requesting a RICO investigation of companies and organizations that disagree with the Obama administration on climate change. In fact, IGES has reportedly received $63 million from taxpayers since 2001, comprising over 98 percent of its total revenue during that time.”

EPA Opens Door to More “Shady” Environmental Fraud

Sun-light-through-the-trees

There’s no getting away from this. Sunlight is bad. It’s bad for plants. Why? Because plants that get sunlight emit ozone. Trees are the biggest culprits. So we need to regulate sunshine as only suitable for taxpayer backed solar farms that keep the sun from getting to the plants. Got it?

BLACK LIVES MATTER, EXCEPT IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS

To progressives not all black lives matter, not even those that survive the abortion-cult cleansing rituals. To the progressive left, advocating for better education for minority students is “racist.” Because, you know, #BlackLivesMatter, but one shouldn’t actually try to do anything about it, other than march in the streets, hold signs, get on TV, and … Read more

Climate Racketeering Charges Take an Interesting About-Face

letter_wide-114373157624ef432f57452b56c2eb19289fd314-s6-c30

Ten days ago I reported on a letter sent to President Obama, signed by twenty well-heeled climate cultists, asking the government to file RICO corruption charges against people who disagree with them. The lead signatory of the letter, Jagdish Shukla, a professor at George Mason University and front-man for the non-profit called IGES (where he posted the letter online), has since removed it and declared that it was inadvertently posted on the web site (after it was inadvertently sent to the president or linked in the press release?)

There was nothing inadvertent about it. It was a deliberate act of hubris that has come back to bite him in the a**!

When NASA’s climate “guesses” are wrong they rewrite history in an effort to make them right, so claims of life and active running water on Mars should be taken with a BIG grain of salt – literally. Alfred McEwen, a senior member of the orbiter team and a professor of planetary geology at the University … Read more

San Francisco Regulates Last Gun Shop in City Out Of Business

High Bridge Arms

Because – Guns!

Situated in the prominent city heart of Mission Street, High Bridge Arms was founded in the mid-1950s by Bob Chow, who competed in the 1948 Olympics 25-yard pistol shooting event. By some accounts a Bay Area institution, it has long been a tourist destination – specially for members of the law enforcement community who visit the city.

The City was “going to force them to record videos of every customer in the store and keep those videos available permanently.

Wacky Cambridge Prof Who Predicted Zero Arctic Ice is Adviser to Climate-Pope Francis

Peter Wadhams is something of a favourite at [Bishop Hill], his researches into the paranormal, his physics-free sea-ice predictions and his concerns about assassination [of Pro-Global Warming Scientists] having provided readers with much entertainment over the years.
