Rich Girard has filed a formal and detailed complaint with Attorney General Joe Foster that begins with this. A List of “Fake News” Sites

There are fake news sites where you know the stories are satire, and then there are those that post fake news but don’t tell you, or at least not exactly. Rachel Alexander compiled a list of these, some of which are left-wing constructs created to trap Republicans into sharing fake news, or so the story goes.

Either way, these “news” sites do not (or did not) openly advertise any of their “reporting” as fake or as satire. When confronted by these ‘sources’ consider the content accordingly.

Liberal Gatekeeper Doesn’t Need No Stinkin’ Bill-o-Rights

New York’s AG has decreed that donations to non-profits over $5,000.00 be made public. Myron Magnet, writing at City Journal, had some insightful thoughts on that, then closed with this. [James] Madison would not get the joke that the Constitution’s imagined “right to privacy” allows unrestricted abortion but doesn’t protect anonymous donations to those advocating … Read more

Sununu Akbar

Chris sununu

Last night Kimberly Morin and I recorded a segment for this week’s podcast. The discussion centered on the Sununu family purchase of Waterville Valley Ski Resort in New Hampshire and the claim that the investors were local when at least one of them was not.

As Kimberly explains here, over a million dollars originated from a group called Safa Trust.

Safa Trust is a registered non-profit/charity that serves as a collection of Middle Eastern Shell companies to launder money for international terrorism.

New Hampshire Judges Must Have Skipped the 5th Grade

There is an outstanding editorial by Ian Underwood in the Manchester Union Leader. Here’s a taste. The state constitution says only four things about schooling. First, that: “it shall be the duty of the legislators and magistrates, (…) to cherish the interest of literature and the sciences, and all seminaries and public schools.” Second, that … Read more

My apologies for the dearth of content. I’ve been very quiet lately, compared to what passes for my blogging “normal.” But I’m in the middle of two projects.

The first is editing the video for the 603 Alliance Issues Briefing Summit. I’ve been posting that video on GraniteGrok a few days after it goes up here.

The second project is a complete retool of GrokTALK! And by complete, I mean that I may not call it that anymore.

DNC Interim Chair Says Exchanging Political Access for Money is Normal

Donna Brazile - Dirty Democrat from way back whenLong-Time Dirty Democrat (and interim DNC Chair) Donna Brazile tried to soft-peddle concerns about Hillary using her Foundation to grant access to her office. Instead, she gives “illegal activity” the DNC stamp of approval.

(Hot Air) You see, Brazille is describing a scenario where, she believes, it’s perfectly understandable that a major donor to a political campaign might gain some access to a candidate or an event because of their donation. She calls this “normal” and she may be right.

Here’s the problem, Ms. Brazile: The Clinton Foundation is not supposed to be a political campaign fund!

College Mascot Not Calm and Nurturing Enough

Until they’ve perfected the G-23 Paxilon Hydrochlorate. “I believe incoming students should be met with welcoming, nurturing, calm, accepting and happy messages,”Resmiye Oral, a clinical professor of pediatrics, wrote Tuesday in an email to athletic department officials, obtained by the Iowa City Press-Citizen. “And our campus community is doing a great job in that regard … Read more

EPA Drops Climate Cult ‘Pamphlets’ on Every State, Including Yours

Al_Gore_Fire bannerThe EPA has taken some of that money they took from you to produce ‘Fact Sheets’ on climate change and its impact on your state.

EPA isn’t trying to be funny but I challenge you to read this without laughing. It’s ridiculous. But it was never meant to be serious science. Its purpose is to enable like-minded cult members at the state and local level–and don’t forget those unelected regional planners–into scrabbling for more “federal money” in response.

The federal money is tied to federal regulators. Once someone takes the (free) federal money you and your local officials will no longer be able to prevent DC from imposing rules upon you and your property.

Flood Plains Flood

The experts milking the climate change ATM are blaming the flooding in Louisiana on Global Warming. But most of Louisiana is in a flood plain. I’m no expert, but that sounds like it increases the odds of flooding. The geology proves me right. Geology that is many thousands of years in the making due to…repeated flooding. Flooding … Read more
