Methinks that Ryan Williams (to whom I am still not the Second Coming of thereof) ought to tell the lead tongued one he needs to change his patter when speaking about his speech, the perception that the grassroots has of him, and certainly the perception that he is solid rock core Establishment.  On the Sunday talking head shows, he just sounded clueless.  Example: with Chris Wallace interviewing him on Fox News Sunday, Mitt was just plain tone-deaf to both the question and with his answer (emphasis mine):

Here’s the criticism I’ve heard from some people; I guess that would include Rush Limbaugh about your speech. You certainly have a right, you know, First Amendment is there, to criticize Donald Trump and say why he’d be a bad President, but some people say that your speech was, their words, condescending and even undemocratic in the sense, in effect, what you’re saying is folks who are voting for Trump don’t understand what they are doing.

They just don’t understand that losing the OTHER way is just a huge a possibility as what they fear will happen if Trump is the nominee:

The last time that happened at a Republican convention was in 1948 when Thomas Dewey was nominated. Cruz said that scenario was unacceptable this year.  “If the Washington dealmakers try to steal the nomination from the people, I think it would be a disaster. It would cause a revolt,” the senator from Texas told reporters in Maine.

Heck, I’ve been writing about this for years now – and now he seems to be surprised.  This has been slow rolling since the start of the TEA Party movement 8 years ago.  Anyone inside that movement, who thought about what was happening, thinking about what its principles were (e.g., Free Markets, Fiscal Frugality, Government staying within its Constitutional mandated boundaries), sees what is going on as part of that natural progression.  Why?

• Again, if the Republican Party had hewed to its Principles and done its job right, there would never have been a TEA Party movement.

Democratic turnout has dropped 37 percent overall in those eight states, but just 13 percent in the states that didn’t enact new voter restrictions. To put it another way, Democratic voter turnout was 285 percent worse in states with new voter ID laws.”

To be fair, compared to both current Republican votes and to 2008 / 2012 Democrat primaries, votership is down and is being attributed to Democrat listlessness and apathy.  Why not?  The Party that touted itself as being young, invigorated, skin color diverse has devolved to shoving two decrepit, old, whites who both have done pretty much nothing except reveal the Democrat Party to be indistinguishable from the Socialist Party (and by their own admission, too!).

Stonewall: State Dept may not finish review of Top Secret Clinton emails until after election

One of the last issues to be resolved after all of Hillary Clinton’s emails are released is what to do about the Top Secret ones which the public will never see. The obvious question for the FBI to deal with is if there was any wrongdoing which would further add to a potential criminal case. But nothing can happen until the State Department finishes evaluating the super secret material and determine if it was classified at birth and if it represented a threat to national security and a violation of the rules.

Hillary Email Indictment Watch: State Department Staffer Given Immunity

…This is big news. People don’t get immunity deals from the federal government unless they have something big. And it would appear the Justice Department has something big because they have just given immunity to a familiar player in the email scandal:

…In a statement, Brian Fallon, a spokesman for the Clinton campaign, said: “As we have said since last summer, Secretary Clinton has been cooperating with the Department of Justice’s security inquiry, including offering in August to meet with them to assist their efforts if needed.”

Clinton is the one that is using the phrase “security inquiry” – the FBI that is doing the investigation doesn’t “do” security inquiries, they do criminal investigations.  And those are not done on “hardware”, they are done on “wetware” – people.  And for as much as a robot she plays during this campaign, she is wetware (I think).

Details are sketchy and will be updated.  Apparently, the FBI, in full tactical gear, have raided the Delemus’s and taken Jerry into custody.  My source is saying that he may be in transit to Concord for arraignment with the the “presumption” is over his involvement in the Bundy Ranch standoff in 2014 – I am thinking this is a reaction to the recently concluded situation in Oregon.  However, this is speculation. UPDATE 2: word just received that he will be arraigned at the Federal Courthouse in Concord at 4pm on a Nevada warrant and then / may be transported to Nevada afterwards.

The FBI had twice asked for meetings (10 days ago,a 9:30am and when they didn’t show up, a 1pm), so my source says, at a Dunkin Donuts in Rochester and both times failed both times to show up because of “fear for their safety” (pure balderdash IMHO).
