Naw, this head honcho of Breath New Hampshire shows that he’s failed. That’s right, failed. He can’t do his job to persuade you and I to stop doing what he thinks we should not. Another NGO Nanny, this one is. He has an Op-Ed in the (wait for it….wait for it – the Paper of Record For NH Nannies) Concord Monitor.
Fortunately, New Hampshire was one of the first states to prohibit the sale of e-cigarettes to minors under 18, and Breathe NH is proud to have been instrumental, along with members of our New Hampshire Youth Network, in helping to pass this law in 2010.
Yup, we couldn’t persuade (or, more likely, trust) stores to voluntarily restrict themselves to selling this merchandise. Nor persuading parents to monitor their children (no trust there either – mere parents (/sarc)). And with this, he admits he’s absolutely helpless in doing the same to his actual target audience. Given the absolute failure, he turns to the force of law. What a way to be a do-gooder.
