OK, a bit over the top on that title, but just by a little. After all, they both support Planned Parenthhood, right?  And giving donations to the PP Action Fund, he helped Buckles defeat Kelly Ayotte (all of his verbal protestations aside we all only have to look at his actions). And there’s one other thing that ties the two together ideologically as well but let me do a quick set up.

So J-Ho has decided that she wasn’t going for threepeat for the NH GOP Chair – good move.  And so like nature who abhors a vacuum, we’re seeing a bunch of folks flooding in to fill said vacuum.  Thus far:

• Matt Mayberry (current Vice-Chair, NHGOP)
• Wayne MacDonald (former long term Vice-Chair and NH GOP Chair)
• Jeannie Forrester (former State Senator, ran for NH GOP Gov nomination)
• JP Marzullo (former Vice-Chair)

And this is where the NEXT tie-in with Ray Buckley comes in (and no, it doesn’t involve fake bikinis – that I know of):

I saw the news when this “avante – garde” (e.g., true socialism in action) small biz opened and decided to throw out all of the regular rules of capitalism (and, not to be too obvious, capitalism) and run it strictly according to socialist thought.  Apparently, they thought that they were “the Right People” socialists have been looking for to implement it.  Ah, the sad (but knowable) end (reformatted, emphasis mine):

The end has come for a popular Grand Rapids restaurant known as much for its creative vegan dishes as its progressive business model.

…Not only was the menu unconventional, so was the business model. Bartertown was a collective, which meant there were no bosses, according to Cappelletti. The inspiration for the worker-owned restaurant was based on Cappelletti’s own restaurant experience.  “Because of our economy, people are working 12- to-15-hour shifts, servers take home $200 to $300 a night in tips, the cooks are making $10 an hour and the owner takes whatever he takes, ” Cappelletti told MLive in 2011. “We’re going to have equal pay and equal say across the board. Everyone working together.”

And of course, they had to burnish their collectivist bona fides – all of them with no exceptions – make sure that ALL of their patrons knew their politics:

Yes, THAT Scott Adams (of Dilbert fame) on Donald Trump:

Here’s the real story. You need a business filter to see it clearly. In my corporate life I watched lots of new leaders replace old leaders. And there is one trick the good leaders do that bad leaders don’t: They make some IMMEDIATE improvement that everyone can see. It has to be visible, relatively simple, and fast.

Why?

Because humans are not rational. Our first impressions rule our emotions forever. Trump has a second chance to make a first impression because his performance as President is fresh ground. Trump is attacking the job like a seasoned CEO, not like a politician. He knows that his entire four-year term will be judged by what happens before it even starts. What he does today will determine how much support and political capital he has for his entire term.

David French, whom we’ve had on GrokTALK!, does a run up and then asks a question.  First, the run up:

John and Jill are both applying to work at a company like Google, Apple, Starbucks, or Disney. John is an advocate for LGBT issues, he believes Caitlyn Jenner is a woman, and he thinks Black Lives Matter has pulled back the curtain on systematic police racism. Jill is an Evangelical Christian who believes marriage is God-defined as the lifelong, covenant relationship of one man and one woman. She knows that Caitlyn Jenner is a man. And while her heart grieves for racism, she believes Black Lives Matter is a dangerous, radical organization that is inciting violence and spreading dangerous hoaxes that are inflaming millions of Americans.

And now, the question about how Society sees the two:

Quick little story: the Youngest needed money.  Since my name hasn’t been on his bank account for years (like when he was deployed), I just couldn’t simply transfer money from my account to his.  I really didn’t want to drive all the way to him and he’s not on PayPal.  What was left?

Western Union.

They tout themselves as “Send money as quick as a click”.  I found out otherwise real quick. More than a single click.  More than a few words, too.

Who is MY House Rep – and chair of my hamlet’s Budget Committee. In the latter capacity, he’s doing a right fine job (especially in taking the School Board to TASK for obfuscation and obstructionism).  If he does all that he writes here (Laconia Daily Sun), I’ll be a happy camper!

To The Daily Sun,

I wish to provide an initial report to the citizens of Gilford & Meredith (Belknap County House District 2) whom I represent in the N.H. House of Representatives.

Although I will not be formally sworn until December 7, Pearl Harbor Day, I have endeavored to try to fulfill several of the issues on which I ran. Thus, I have submitted seven proposed bills to the Office of Legislative Services for the preparation of formal bills to be introduced in the 2017 Session beginning in January covering the following topics:

1. Repeal of the statute that allows persons attending college in N.H. to register and vote here, regardless of whether this is their permanent home.
2. Complete repeal of the tax on interest and dividends.
3. Revising the Business Enterprise Tax to eliminate any liability for the tax in any year in which the business organization does not have profits subject to the Business Profits Tax.

…petty, little, nitwit with grandiose self-assuredness of his ability to blunder about.  A STERLING example of absolute power (in his case, in very small ways) over those that have no power at all – the definition of a tyrant.  Seriously, Jasper, the height of blatant “Retribution – I shall do it….because I can“!  And against someone that has no power at all.  But then, again, isn’t Jasper all about humiliation (and you can take that anyway that you want). Reformatted, emphasis mine:

A former state representative and vocal critic of House Speaker Shawn Jasper, R-Hudson, filed a court complaint against the speaker on Tuesday, claiming that Jasper improperly had him removed from the Legislative Office Building during an orientation session for new lawmakers. Spec Bowers was a Republican representative from Sullivan County who served from 2010 to 2012, and ran unsuccessfully in November.

Throughout much of the past two years, he was a vocal critic of Jasper’s leadership and the partnership he forged with Democrats to obtain the position over the majority will of the Republican caucus.

…this wouldn’t be necessary – that Congress has to deliberately has to overrule some unelected, unaccountable, and more and more, unassailable bureaucrats? Who, according to the Constitution, should have the power here?  What we’ve been seeing is a complete inversion of how the process is supposed to work.

“Whenever one quarter of the members of the U.S. House or the U.S. Senate transmit to the president their written declaration of opposition to a proposed federal regulation, it shall require a majority vote of the House and Senate to adopt that regulation.”

The story snippet at Instapundit – whole piece here.

The director of a coalition seeking to restore a “balance of state and federal power” is in Midland this week garnering support for a constitutional amendment he believes provides the fastest and most reliable way to rein in power of regulators in Washington.

The “Regulation Freedom Amendment” specifically says:

And a real life example with uber-Left (and Hillary rump-swab) “journalist”Andrea Mitchell:

On her MSNBC show on Wednesday, anchor Andrea Mitchell’s exchange with former Defense Secretary William Cohen turned surprisingly contentious when the Clinton cabinet official started lecturing the press on its obsession with every tweet from President-elect Donald Trump: “I think we have to be less concerned with tweets, chasing every one as if it’s some sort of revealed wisdom that’s going out into a rabbit hole – ”

Mitchell countered: “But when he tweets something about ISIS claiming responsibility for what happened in Ohio State, when that’s not at all confirmed, doesn’t that raise questions about the judgment – he is the president-elect.”  Cohen pushed back: “It raises questions, but also raises questions about the media. Why are you chasing it? Why, when a story comes out with a tweet which intuitively you know is not of significance, and yet, you spend an entire day analyzing it?”

“We regularly work with our media-buying partners to ensure our ads do not appear on sites that aren’t aligned with our values as a company,” said Kellogg’s flak Kris Charles. “We recently reviewed the list of sites where our ads can be placed and decided to discontinue advertising on Breitbart.com. We are working to remove ads from that site.”

Chaser:  My dollars are no longer aligned with your products.

Hangover:

I don’t eat their products (listed at the above link) – but TMEW does….er, did.  But you know, if Kellogg wants to slag me simply because I visit their sites (and often link them up on stuff that matters to me), so be it.  They certainly don’t have to spend their money on Breitbart – after all it is THEIR money.

But that sends a message in which they are now complicit

…So, while we understand the heartfelt and strongly-held opinions on both sides of the gun debate, it is with the safety and security of our employees and customers in mind that we respectfully ask people not to bring firearms into our stores, offices or facilities, even in states where it’s permitted by law. Of course, authorized members of law enforcement are an exception.

Chaser: OK, dude, my firearm will not as my feet won’t either.

Hangover:

While I have purchased Levi jeans in the past, I generally now only purchase either Land’s End or more recently, LL Bean.  So saying that I would participate in a boycott is rather weak statement.  And TMEW hates to go clothes shopping for herself so…

This is just adding to
