A recent Boston Globe Suffolk University poll includes seven candidates for the Lefty Presidential nomination circus who failed to get a single vote from a New Hampshire Democrat.
Not even from the ‘Republicans for’ [insert name of so-called moderate Democrat here]? Nope, but only because it was a survey of 500 likely New Hampshire Democrats voters. So, who got the donut?
New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio; former Alaska Sen. Mike Gravel; Washington Gov. Jay Inslee; Miramir, Florida Mayor Wayne Messam; Massachusetts Rep. Seth Moulton; Ohio Rep. Tim Ryan; and former Pennsylvania Rep. Joe Sestak.
The report notes that “Inslee, Moulton, and Ryan at least got a few people to say they were their second choice for president.” Quick, use that in a campaign ad or mailer!
I confess I had no idea Wayne Messam was running. In fact, that’s only the second time I’ve ever heard his name and only because it appears twice in this post and I read it back to myself.
But it is encouraging. To see all these Democrats “capitalizing” on the unhinged Trump-hating outrage of their base. What better opportunity to get your name out there (even if it’s Wayne Messam)? You can charge a bit more for speaking fees. Try to leverage your “candidacy” into some appointment or job in a new administration. Or, something.
Even the folks with no vote have a better chance at that than many who might have run but couldn’t find enough backing to pay for plane fare to the early primary states.
Hey, my dog wanted to run but there’s a language barrier problem he didn’t think he could overcome. Oh, and he’s a Republican.
Woof!
Note: If you care, the top three are Biden at 21 percent support, followed by Sanders at 17 percent and Warren at 14 percent. No other candidate has double-digit support in the Granite State.
