Data Point – who has more money in the bank?

by

US Government operating cash balance: $73.8 Billion.

Apple?  $76.3 Billion.

It seems that private industry, having to watch over their own money, can be more "successful" than Government at watching its money.  Imagine that; while Apple is among the most successful companies in the world right now, our elected politicians and bureaucrats have now shown that their handling of other peoples’ money is less capable than an entity many multiples smaller than itself.  And remember, Apple had to provide products and services sufficiently good enoubh such that folks would voluntarily give their money to Apple.

We don’t have that option with Government.
