Republican Steve Negron Exploring Rematch With Democrat Ann Kuster in NH CD-2

Republican Candidate for Congress Steve Negron has announced that he is exploring a rematch against Democrat incumbent Ann Kuster. It would be the first of it’s kind this decade. All her previous challengers were on and done. Negron is looking seriously at running again in 2020.

“We always seem to be starting all over again in the 2nd CD, and a lot of people, I think, are just tired of that. They’d rather say, ‘OK, I know this guy. Let’s talk more about issues than just trying to get to know the candidate,” Negron said.

GraniteGrok endorsed Negron out of a crowded field for the 2018 contest, and we are already talking about doing it for 2020. He is a solid conservative. He’s been the nominee. And he got 40% of the vote in a Democrat wave election against an entrenched Washington insider. In a year when Republicans were wiped out in New Hampshire (except for the governor’s office).

A principled Republican candidate with name recognition is a rare thing in DC-2.

We hope he runs again.
