This past Saturday was the Tenth Amendment Center’s Nullify Now! tour here in NH. Held at the Manchester campus of SNHU, approximately 300 activists showed up to hear an all day line up of speakers. The topic: different aspects of how the Federal government has been encroaching into areas that are better left to State governments, local governments, and to citizens in general. Simply put: too big, too regulatory, too costly, and too pushy.
Now, what to do about it!? The overall theme – the answer is to hold our elected officials accountable to their oaths to honor and protect the Constitution – even as they ignore it in passing new legislation (yes, that would be folks like FORMER US Rep Phil Hare who famously said that he didn’t care about the Constitution). And then, replace them, if need be, with those that treasure the foundational truths that Founders knew had to be there and to honor the checks and balances between the States and the Federal Government. GraniteGrok (an associate sponsor of the event) is proud to be included in this effort!
This first clip is of Michael Boldin (Executive Director of the Tenth Amendment Center) getting the day started and NH’s own Mike Rogers on why today is important.
On a personal note, I am happy to call Mike a personal friend and am glad to have him as a part of GraniteGrok!
