And really getting out of control. What is this – a country where somebody can’t hold an opinion without someone demanding he get fired for it? Hey, Monday Morning Clacker – back off (that would be you, Christopher Potter Stewart)!
So WHAT if Will Wrobleski expressed an interest in NOT voting for Tim Pawlenty for President because he is not conservative enough; from Roll Call:
“He’s a nice guy. But there’s a number of guys I’d vote for. He’s not one of them,” Wrobleski said of Pawlenty. “I don’t think he’s conservative enough.
And anyone is supposed to be surprised by this, where he was a Mitt guy last cycle? And Will expressed his opinion BEFORE becoming the new NH GOP Executive Director?
Oh Please...
Will knows how the game is played – become a staffer, the mouth gets zipped. Grown-ups can do that – assume a position, you assume a role with that position. In this case – right down the middle. Will has been around enough to know that – more and longer than Stewart. Or is this SOLELY because Stewart’s wife works for TPaw?
By the way, is Stewart now going to yammer, with all of the other small critics, about Jack’s neutrality as well (given Jack Kimball’s outspoken past)?
You know, if anyone ever holding a political opinion was disqualified from holding a staffer position, well, there’d be a whole lot of empty positions going begging for people. Or, a whole lot of lying going on…
This is really Political Correctness at its worst – keeping someone from a job just because of an opinion counter to what the complainer holds. Dufus time.
Gee, doesn’t this sound like something that the Left would be doing….
Question: do you think YOUR outburst is going to hurt TPaw with Conservatives? Or at least sow any kind of doubt? Will is well liked here in NH as a standup guy – you attacking him is not going to serve your wife’s boss all that well…
