The Hyde Amendment prevents the federal government from using your tax dollars to pay for abortions. It must be renewed every year, and it has been renewed every year for 50 years since it was first passed in 1976. Since 2016, the Democratic Party Platform has called for ending the Hyde Amendment.
From Democrats Want to Force You to Fund Abortions if They Win in LifeNews:
House Democrats announced that they would repeal the Hyde Amendment in the FIRST 100 HOURS should they win the majority this November. They’re going to use their “Equal Access to Abortion Coverage in Health Insurance Act of 2025 to do so. 201 House Democrats in this Congress co-sponsored this radical legislation, which not only eliminates Hyde restrictions but guarantees that taxpayer dollars will be spent on abortion.
New Hampshire Congressman Chris Pappas is among the 201 House Democrats who co-sponsored the legislation to repeal the Hyde Amendment. He prides himself on being a so-called “moderate,” but that is a put-on. He is on board with forcing taxpayers to pay for ending the lives of the most innocent and helpless among us: babies in the womb.
Chris Pappas wants to be promoted to US Senator. If elected, Pappas would replace Jeanne Shaheen, another so-called “moderate” who is radically pro-abortion. Both Shaheen and Pappas received an “F” on the National Pro-Life Scorecard from Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America.
New Hampshire voters don’t seem to notice what their elected officials say publicly about abortion or what awful pro-abortion legislation they support. I’m asking you to please notice and vote to protect moms and babies from the serious harm of abortion on Tuesday, November 3.
