Morning Update: The ‘T’ in AFT

Today, on the Morning Update, it’s been a long time since the American Federation of Teachers has had anything to do with teaching or education (unless it was to learn how to be a commie), but have they made another transition?

Welcome to your Thursday, September 17th, 2026, morning update. Don’t forget tomorrow is the one-year anniversary of this program. We will be celebrating by doing exactly what we do every day. And I don’t even know what that is yet. But anyway.

The American Federation of Teachers, also known as the AFT, has one priority. Well, maybe it’s two: wealth and power.

The Union comes before everything else, including education, students, teachers, taxpayers, and maybe even you, if you’re not one of those.

It doesn’t exist to improve the lives of teachers or the learning environment or education.

And that’s as clear today as it was back in twenty twelve when I wrote about an AFT candidate survey somebody sent me, quote, the entire survey is dedicated to asking whether you will do anything to curb public union power or will vote to change how public union teachers are compensated.

Their pensions, including whether you would support any legislation that would make it harder to raise taxes. There was absolutely nothing in the twenty-five-question survey about education, about teaching, about learning. It was entirely about how the legislature might improve union salaries and therefore dues and union power.

AFT’s Supreme Leader, Comrade Randi Weingarten. Emphasis on the whine, is an angry lesbian and a notorious harpy, whose tirades are shared as gospel among Democrats across social media.

And why not?

She’s uppity, hates Trump, and yells a lot.

She’s also a very well-heeled spokesperson for the entire Democrat Party agenda.

If the marching Marxists doing business as the DNC have a five-year plan, she’s in on it.

Anti ice, pro-crime, open borders. So she’s gotta be down with the criminal and alien rape and murder club.

Human and drug trafficking? We’ll add more union teachers. That’s the answer. They can run the in-school mental health clinics. And hey, they can help with the grooming. The one thing public schools are actually any good at.

And what could Whine-garten and the AFT do to make the public education experience any worse? Quote: Today the AFT moved to join an ongoing lawsuit against the US Department of Transportation seeking to stop the agency from seizing the personal records of 17 million commercial driver’s license holders from the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators, the nonprofit that maintains the national database of driver records.

AFT says they’re acting out of a concerned, deep interest, in their privacy.

But you know better.

I remember correctly, wasn’t Whine- Garten in on the jab mandates, mask mandates, vaccine passports? Culture demanding answers to health questions that would mm technically violate HIPAA rules. Which included students, teachers, administrators, and even parents.

Papers, please.

AFT also appears to support all the non-academic surveys in the collection by schools and third parties of massive amounts of data on your children.

Privacy? F off.

So what’s your game?

Would have to be protecting school bus drivers or delivery personnel who are not natural citizens. People who might not speak very good English and might not be able to read it at all.

Trump’s DOT has decertified hundreds of schools. So-called CDL driving schools.

Flagging thousands and thousands of drivers who can’t even pass the English proficiency test and yet were given CDLs anyway. Some of the more famous ones are named Singh because they’re responsible for vehicular manslaughter, transportation murder. Eighteen-wheelers, truck drivers killing civilians as a result of their negligence.

And that is what Weingarten and the AFT are protecting.

Some of those people are driving school district vehicles, including school buses.

Full of kids.

Why?

To protect the warm-bodied U.S. Census placeholders that are meant to help the Democrats add more members to Congress and to give blue states more electoral votes in presidential elections.

If a couple of kids’ bodies end up cold as a result, as far as AFT is concerned, it’s a price it is willing to make you pay.

None of this is about privacy or rights. It is about political power and money.

So the T in AFT could stand for transportation, but what it really stands for is tyranny.

That’s it for today. I’ll talk to you tomorrow.
