The Democrats have nothing to run on except the impossible, unicorn-like notion that if you elect them this time, they will do the opposite of everything they’ve ever done. No Democrat is going to make your life cost less; they are going to raise taxes and impose more regulations. No Democrat is going to reduce or investigate deep state or democrat corruption. Political targeting, sure, but the same machine that allows trillions in fraud through food stamps, Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, grants, funding, and other taxpayer-backed gimmes isn’t interested in any of that.
And most of the dems running aren’t going to be interested in or capable of stopping the DSA agenda because it’s theirs, too.
That leaves us with impeaching President Trump. I don’t think there’s a Democrat in NH or anywhere else who isn’t saying it or running on it, and it might be the only honest thing they’re saying.
You elected Donald Trump overwhelmingly. Both as a Democracy and as a Republic (for the new people, America is a Constitutional Republic, not a mob-rule Democracy). Popular vote stomping, Electoral College stomping, 180-degree change in direction. Fix the nation. You asked for that.
Mr. Trump is doing that, but Democrats don’t like it, so they are running on a big F you to the Republic and Democracy. We don’t care if this is what you asked for; we’re promising to stop it. But they can’t even do that, can they? It’s just the smell of brimstone seeping out into the left-wing electorate. It is not just unlikely but almost impossible for Democrats to have the majorities they need if they have a great midterm to keep the promise of undoing what you voted for.
The argument is that we will use Democracy (mob-rule voting for individual congressional seats) as a mandate to remove Trump.
Unlikely, and the commie left may even lose seats, but let’s pretend they don’t. What happens if they impeach Trump successfully?
