Welcome to your Wednesday, September 2nd, 2026 morning update.
Fresh news on the left-wing political targeting and corruption front. Remember Obama and Biden? Crossfire Hurricane, spying on a presidential campaign, spying on Congress members, and all sorts of crap like that.
Dozens of people in Trump’s orbit were arrested, indicted, charged, lawfared, some of them into poverty.
Under Mr. Joe Biden, the practice continued, with multiple attempts to target Mr. Trump to disqualify him from running for president because they were afraid he’d win and of what he might do if he did. As the saying goes, if you’re going to kill the king, kill the king.
Well, they missed. A couple of times.
But there was lots of political targeting. So when Democrats say Trump is politically targeting people, well, they set the standard; they opened the door. What did you expect? True or not, he was going to come for you.
And then there was all the crap invented by New York AG Letitia “Tish” James. She was obviously doing it on purpose. She was obviously coordinating it with the White House. But it’s nice to have receipts.
Quote: As the Albany Times Union reported, New York Assistant Attorney General Daniel Weisenfeld on Friday morning blasted out an email to 2,000 of his colleagues. About how he had been pressured to get Trump and his allies. Weisenfeld, assigned to the agency’s Investor Protection Bureau, wrote in the email that his supervisor, Shamiso Maswoswe had told him to quote find and pursue crimes committed by specific individuals and organizations affiliated with Donald Trump, he was to target Trump himself, Truth Social, Hewlett Packard, without having a credible reason for targeting this organization and individuals.

After the news broke, Tish-a-Majig made it all disappear. It’s just a personnel matter. Ignore that man behind the curtain. Blah blah blah blah.
Weisenfeld wasn’t done.
Quote: If you believe Trump is using Department of Justice attorneys to prosecute his enemies and further his political interests, you should find it equally troubling that Tish James is doing exactly the same thing.
I guess we should say has done the same thing.
I ask that you not serve as Tish’s personal attorneys by targeting her political enemies. Instead, I hope you choose to prosecute crimes and find the individuals accountable rather than targeting individuals and then finding crimes. In his email, Weisenfeld wrote that New York’s politically driven attorney general has used significant public taxpayer dollars to target convenient public enemies as she shrugs off rampant nonprofit homeless shelter fraud, Medicaid fraud, and crimes in and around synagogues. Tish is prioritizing political theater and getting reelected in November over actually improving the quality of life of New Yorkers.
Again, no flies on you, but Newsflash, that’s the entire Democrat Party.
New York Post columnist Miranda Devine adds that the double standards are staggering. It’s only surprising that more prosecutors haven’t quit, Devine opined, noting James myriad failures in dealing with Medicaid fraud, antisemitism, and government corruption under her fellow Democrats.
Pro tip, again, it’s just not the Tish-a-majig or the other Soros-funded DAs and AGs that have been elected. It’s the party. It’s the party. This is the Democrat Party. If you’re in it and you discover it, get out. This is who they are.
As I wrote on Sunday, the left is a bunch of crooks. And it makes no difference what the intentions are. Every single thing a Democrat wants begins with them taking something from someone else who earned it. Even rich Democrats who could fund it themselves use politics to leverage government to legally steal from you.
The law is a tool to use or ignore to advance political power. It serves no other purpose, and for Democrats, it is just a weapon.
Tish James is just being who she is. And so are the rest of them.
