The USA should be grateful to Comrade “MAD MAN” Mamdani! Human nature causes human beings to see NIRVANA (The land that never was and never will be), and NIRVANA is exactly the promise of Communism: Everything for Nothing! On the other hand, Capitalism teaches and practices the belief that with “Hard Work” (and a little luck), anyone can achieve anything!
History tells us the truth about Capitalism v. Communism: The overabundant society that each of us thrives in today is the result of LIBERTY forged by the American Founding Fathers! The scarcity society of the USSR is the result of the tyranny of Lenin, Stalin, and Kruschev, who memorably banged his shoe on the United Nations’ podium in New York City and screamed into the microphone: “We will bury you!” Within 48 hours, Stalin’s successor, Nikita Kruschev, the despotic ruler of Russian Communism in the 1950s, asked if he could visit Disneyland, which required a 3000-mile trip across the USA! And so, Nikita Kruschev went to Disneyland!
Well, Charles, why is the USSR still a major world power today? There are two major reasons for this historical conundrum:
The American D-Day invasion of Europe diverted Hitler from the inevitable destruction of Stalin’s Soviet Union, and the Rosenbergs (husband and wife members of the American Communist Party) provided top-secret military and nuclear weapon designs provided by her brother, who worked on the Manhattan Project (the WW II research for the first nuclear weapon) and gave that information to the Soviet Union.
