Moral relativism, relative secularism, and the idea that good and evil are subjective are always a pretext for evil behavior. It is, after all, much easier to excuse evil if you don’t believe in it. If the ends justify the means, then othering people and encouraging your base to do evil for you with violent rhetoric is not just excusable but necessary, as is applauding it.
If, however, you think evil exists and that morality is not subjective, you don’t just view the world differently; you view yourself, your actions, and those of others differently.
It’s not okay to convince someone else to shoot the president, assassinate Charlie Kirk, attack federal agents who are just following the law, or gun down a CEO in the street.
Immigration has a legally outlined process, and jumping the border, especially if you came here to commit crimes, makes you a criminal, and the law outlines a process for this that can be changed by lawmakers elected by citizens.
You, yourself, abstain from evil behavior and discourage it in others, which is why Republicans and Democrats, generally, are different, and that difference is critical. While the left applauds evil in its ranks and invites it in, the Right resists it and pushes it away.
The DSA’s priorities are repugnant to human liberty and flourishing, but democrat voters continue to elevate its candidates into positions of power and authority.
MAGA has increasingly rejected Republicans who tolerate progressive evils and reject recent shifts by some to other Jews- something Democrats have increasingly done for years and are not just embracing but encouraging.
And it’s not just Jews. The left has been othering moms, parents, anyone who supports Donald Trump, the police, the military, federal agents, and even the laws resulting from the emergency they claim to be defending.
None of the itemized demographic characteristics crammed into civil rights laws will protect you from the left’s outrage if you don’t buy and sell their agenda.
What the DSA wants has always been where the Democratic Party was going, and what passes for a moderate Dem is no less radical. They want the same things; a self-proclaimed moderate democrat is just willing to wait a little longer. They’ll take it tomorrow, but they fear that admitting to the goal in this manner will undermine their electability.
But the Political left, including the so-called moderates-the ones who defend grooming children and neutering children, open borders, and criminals free on your streets to do more evil-are past the point of no return. Violence against anyone who is not pulling for their team has left the barn and passed the gate. You’re not putting that evil genie back in its flimsy blue bottle.
The left has already made excuses for violence and evil or ignored it to avoid having to admit it is necessary for the left to succeed politically or that it always was.
Violence is inevitable; the question is whether you want to be a victim in a world where your government lets it happen, or one where the government hunts it down and punishes it for violating your natural rights, regardless of what you say or believe.
The right believes evil is real, that it comes with consequences, and that society exists to define and measure that relationship, where the government exists to protect natural rights so that individuals can each pursue their own ideas about prosperity in peace.
The left says evil doesn’t exist to avoid any consequences from a government that can do whatever it must to define rights, ensuring that society cannot interfere with its interests or deprive it of the money or power to pursue them.
It doesn’t matter what any Democrat says about any issue. The goal is not to improve your life but to improve the government’s ability to define what life means to them, including yours. They will say anything to convince you otherwise.
What the political left wants is just another form of slavery, and it’s evil.
