Welcome to your Thursday, July ninth, two thousand and twenty-six. Morning update.
Motor voter laws ⁓ in the states that allow non-citizens to get driver’s licenses also could register them to vote illegally. Democrat groups in the Biden administration have sued in the past to block an executive order by Glenn Youngkin ⁓ in Virginia that asked Virginia’s DMV to work with the elections division to remove illegals from the voter rolls if they were on them illegally.
Why would they do that? Illegals can’t vote. Everybody knows that. I’ll tell you why.
In Loudoun County, between 2009 and 2014, the Washington, D.C., suburb of more than 350,000 residents disqualified more than 9,000 residents for jury duty because they were not U.S. citizens.
Loudoun County jury pools come from two sources: voter registration lists and the Department of Motor Vehicles driver’s license applications. The county’s 9,000 juror disqualifications mean that a potentially significant number of non-citizens vote illegally in Virginia.
2019, the Secretary of State has identified 95,000 non-citizens illegally registered to vote in the Lone Star State and intends to purge them. Democrats, of course, lost their minds.
In 2012, Ohio tried to purge non-citizens from its voter rolls. Six years later, the U.S. Supreme Court upheld the state’s right to do so, but it took six years, and the L U L A C and ACLU, left-wing organizations, filed the original lawsuit to block the purge.
These are not isolated, random, or rare.
Democrats have also proposed bills in places like Virginia to prohibit border patrol agents from standing around or anywhere near polling places. I talked about it in a past edition of the morning update.
2025 Concord, New Hampshire Attorney General John Formella announces that Nassif Bryan of Manchester, he’s actually from Jamaica, has been arrested and charged with three Class B felony counts of wrongful voting contrary to RSA six fifty nine thirty four, and ’cause it’s illegal.
And this week, quote, “yesterday, the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division sent letters to all fifty states and the District of Columbia informing them that federal law prohibits non-citizens from voting in American elections, asking states to confirm they are complying with said law and threatening criminal prosecution of top election officials if ballots cast by non-citizens were counted in upcoming elections.”
Democrats are losing their mind for some crazy reason. And they’re all just saying, Well, non-citizens can’t vote. That’s the law. Well, gee gosh. It’s just a letter. I had my roof done a year or two ago, and I kept getting these glossy flyers from roofers saying they want to do my roof. And I went, I already did my roof. I just threw them away.
So, rather than getting all uppity since you’re already enforcing the non-citizens can’t vote law, just throw the letter away and shut up. Of course, there is a hook. The letter did say that they were going to enforce federal law.
Federal law prohibits non-citizen voting. Just ask any Democrat, and they’ll say that’s so. The Trump administration is simply saying that they intend to enforce the law because, after all, no one is above the law. And for the record, it’s not just blue states.
