Welcome to your Wednesday, July eighth, two thousand and twenty-six. Morning update. So if a judge had let a white guy out with a long criminal record, who then went and killed a black woman on public transportation, the crazy lefties would lose their collectivist minds. White privilege. Racism. The judge would be pilloried, doxxed, threatened, assaulted, and possibly even killed by the militant radical leftists who drive left-wing policy in the Democrat Party.
I know they say they want to set criminals free, but they don’t really mean it. White lives do not matter unless, of course, they are killing white people, like in the case of Luigi Mangioni.
But he’s just another useful idiot.
Likewise, these judges who set criminals free simply because they’re not white are also heroes to the left.
Even when their victims are overwhelmingly people of color,
The crimmigrants that they are defending are exponentially harming immigrant communities significantly more than any others.
It’s a question or the issue is perception. People on the left who defend or advocate or support this kind of activity, they feel morally superior for doing it, even though immigrants and people of color are the ones who are harmed by this behavior.
Harmed by this liberal privilege.
They don’t care about people of color. Which brings me to this. From the Federalist, Florida shows how states can restrain rogue judges who let violent criminals go free.
Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier is filing articles of impeachment against a judge who let a killer go free. In a recent press conference, Uthmeier called out other such rulings from judges who refused to punish dangerous criminals like Precious Bland, who drowned her fifteen-month-old daughter and stabbed her husband when he tried to stop her.
Uthmeier also pointed to a man released after an attempted murder, who later killed three tourists, as well as a child sex offender who later murdered his five-year-old stepdaughter. Monsters who pled insanity and were quietly released by liberal judges refusing to administer the law as written.
Governor DeSantis, of course, has applauded this effort and suggested that the legislature do its duty and remove these judges and probably not just them.
How many memes have we seen about holding judges as accountable as bartenders or gun store owners? No one’s above the law, right? Unless they’re a lefty.
This is not just a great idea and not just for these sorts of cases.
There are a lot of judges doing things that don’t make a lot of sense. Like here in New Hampshire, for example, the judiciary seems to think that it has some obligation to make legislative decisions about how much the state should tax people to fund public education. The state doesn’t even have that power. The Constitution never gave it to them. And yet the judges invented it anyway and decided how much it should be. They should be impeached.
Let’s hope Uthmeier’s tip of the spear sets off a brush fire that rages from sea to shining sea, removing liberal judges who set criminals free at the expense of law-abiding citizens, especially most of whom will be people of color.
