Welcome to your Monday morning update for May 25th, 2026. Look at that, I got all that right this time. Before we start.
On this Memorial Day, we pause with deep reverence to honor the courage and sacrifice of our fallen heroes. We remember those who laid down their lives to protect our freedoms and secure the peace we enjoy today. As we reflect on the ultimate price paid for our liberty, inspire us to live lives worthy of their sacrifice. Give us the grace to serve one another, to love our communities, and to actively work for justice and peace across the globe.

Bill Kristol, long-time at best center-ish, squishy, spineless, deep state stooge. Pretending to be a Republican. Well, he is a Republican no longer, at least on paper, not that he ever really was.
He has announced he is a Democrat. Quote, I am pro-freedom, pro-law and order, pro-limited government, and pro the declaration and the constitution. And so today I’m a Democrat.
No one is sad to see him leave the GOP. But talk like that could get him kicked out of the Democrat Party. I mean, they aren’t any of those things. They aren’t pro-freedom, law-and-order, limited government. And you don’t even have to look hard. Pro declaration? You mean like Katy Tur, who doesn’t even know what’s in it? And definitely not pro-constitution, unless they can find a way to leverage it to limit freedom, law, order, and speech. You know the deal.
Anyway.
Went over like a ton of bricks, you know, those pallets of bricks the Democrats put out right before the marches. It’s very law and order. Melissa Chen, in response, I’m pro-feminism, pro-LBT, QI2S plus, pro-free speech, pro-Zionism, and pro-alcohol. So today I’m converting to Islam. Well, that pretty much fits.
Stephen L. Miller, buddy, you were a Democrat fifteen years ago, which is exactly how and why Donald Trump happened. Take your bow. Enjoy the result.

George Conway, that carbuncle on the body politic who broke up his marriage because his wife committed wrongthink by helping Donald Trump win the presidency, is running for Congress as a Democrat. Jen Rubin, the longtime token conservative-ish writer at the Washington Post, came out even earlier in 2020 in a piece called Never Trump Becomes NeverRepublican.
NeverRepublican became NeverWapo when she left the sinking ship in early twenty twenty five to start a substack with Norm Eisen called The Contrarian, aimed at the demographic who pined for the days of Nelson Rockefeller as the right.
Well.
Bill Kristol, I hope he enjoys his time on the left. MAGA Republicans have taken over the Republican Party and are systemically cleaning house. Recent primary results are evidence of this ⁓ new revelation on the right.
This, too, of course, will take time.
And maybe Bill Kristol saw the writing on the wall.
It was never going to be his GOP again. They weren’t going to let him have his way. They weren’t going to be squishy, spineless, stooges. Even the war in Iran isn’t going the way he would like it to go, which is a really good sign. Because Bill Kristol doesn’t love it.
And the Democrats will celebrate the transition of Bill Kristol to official Democrat at least for a little while, but there is a problem.
Bill was worth a lot more to the left as a so-so Republican bashing Republicans than he would ever be as a registered Democrat bashing Republicans. So his financial scheme, as documented by Politibunny, might not work out as well as he thought.
Just like Islam and the radicals who run it, there isn’t a lot of room on the left for another moderate Democrat.
