MACDONALD: The Billie Eilish Non-Indigenous Virtue Signaling Faux Pas

Not one progressive millionaire in America lives on land that wasn’t “stolen,” if their rhetoric is to be believed. Bernie Sanders, for example, has three homes on stolen land, a hypocrisy not rivaled by his 550K$ “campaign” expenses in 2025 on Bombardier Challenger private aircraft (flown over stolen land), to bitch about rich people and oligarchs and climate emissions.

Hey, it’s hard to spread that kind of hypocrisy when you have wait in line to board a coach.

Equally ironic is the abuse of power over all that “stolen land” to enslave people to the will of an illegitimate state. If the land is stolen than the government attempting to rule it can’t be legal either. This, of course, means Bernie, AOC, Mad Maxine, and the rest are the bastard offspring of that illegitimate state who should be deemed powerless, defunded, and sent packing back to their mansions while they wait to be evicted and sent to?

Well, that’s a problem. Where is there no stolen land? Certainly not Billie Eilish’s three-million-dollar Southern California Mansion. The extremely wealthy and popular (for reasons I don’t quite understand) songstress slapped her yap at the Grammys, and now she’s gotten more attention than she probably needs.

A brash California law firm has offered to help evict Billie Eilish on behalf of the Native American tribe that owns the land under the singer’s multimillion-dollar Los Angeles mansion, after the pop star’s self-righteous rant at the Grammys backfired.

Los Angeles-based Sinai Law Firm — touting itself as the premier eviction firm in the county — quipped that it would represent the Tongva tribe pro bono, following the 24-year-old’s claim that “no one is illegal on stolen land” during her acceptance speech Sunday.

“Sinai Law Firm is offering to evict Billie Eilish from her Los Angeles home on a pro bono basis on behalf of the Tongva Tribe,” the firm said in a press release Tuesday.

Whatever for? Well, in an effort to score resume points, she used her mic time after accepting an award to “rail against ICE and insist that ‘no one is illegal on stolen land.”

If you can’t be “illegal” on stolen land, then stealing it isn’t a crime. Nor is conquering it, trading for it, buying it, or any of the rest of it. The entirety of the world has changed hands for various reasons, some more above board than others. And the notions of being indigenous has its own difficulties. My ancestors were “born here,” and many of us have lived here for centuries. Just because your people stole it before them hardly makes your claim more legitimate, especially since you then lost it to someone else, often “settling” on someone else’s land.

Our “democracy” long ago set up a process for this, and, in the interests of keeping another invader from stealing it again, it established borders, laws, and a process for addressing new invasions. You’ll find similar circumstances everywhere in the world. Places where we encourage the people yapping about stolen land and not being illegal to try that shit there. Just show up in Cuba or China, or Russia, uninvited and unannounced.

When they jail you, assuming you don’t get shot on sight, you are not allowed to whine or cry or beg the US State Department to negotiate your release.

If you happen to be rich, as many of the yappers tend to be, you could probably ransom your liberty, but you will then have to leave that stolen land after completing the bribe and return to your own.

As for Billie eyelash and her thing,

The owner of the firm told The Post that the offer was made tongue in cheek — but highlights the “Bad Guy” singer’s hypocrisy.

“Obviously, the post was satirical, but I do think the use of language of ‘stolen land’ is often used to silence valid political debate,” principal attorney Avi Sinai told The Post, adding that he had not heard from Eilish’s reps.

We look forward to Ms. Eyelash’s next ignorant outburst, or that of her alleged peers. Low-hanging fruit is no less delicious, but sometimes it is nice to find something so easy to pick.

And we have to ask. When can we expect Ms. Eilish to open her doors to the foreign invaders? She’s got plenty of room, even if it isn’t their land either.
