BOWMAN: The Worth From America’s Past

No matter the argument offered, it’s impossible not to refer seriously to the wisdom of our Founders.  The ploy of holding another Constitutional Convention, under the guise of a “Convention of the States,” reveals the skullduggery with a closer look. Common sense holds that our Forefathers proved themselves through their willing and dedicated service in their fight for America’s independence.  This performance versus today’s class of politicians, who are idle with their duties and dedicated only to re-election, says it all!

Aside from war’s physical hardships, their dedication was again called upon when competing in the arena of ideas and invention.  One commonality that strengthened their challenge was a belief in their Creator. Faith carried them through various heated debates and personal exchanges.

Today’s general lack of familiarity with the Constitution dampens any possibility of a positive outcome.

There’s only one reason for this convention scheme.  After recruiting the required number of States, once that gavel is sounded, our Constitution and Bill of Rights are no more!  And it would all be legal since a “declaratory precedent” exists and pardons the betrayal.  This “precedent” was set when our Forefathers met to not only fine-tune the Articles of Confederation but also ended up scrapping them for a fairer and more efficient government.

Stepping back in time is frowned upon by today’s pack of “experts” and their reasoning is as disingenuous as is their convention scheme.  Essentially, becoming aware of the truths and historical facts tests one’s curiosity, which in turn may lead to a “then versus now” thinking.  Such questioning can spotlight the discrepancies of this modern-day BS!

A chief agent of today’s lesser output of leadership is a sponsored disillusionment of a useful education, all for the purpose of quieting both questioning and independent thought.  This wasn’t the case “back then.”  In fact, both were assets that led to the quest for knowledge and understanding.  So, this sharp educational decline, which breeds today’s ignorance, is strictly meant to curb any understanding of what is now unfolding.

Today’s public opinion is troublesome, as the majority of citizens are unaware of the type of government that runs America and protects us all.  The common answer is “democracy,” which, when understood, basically means mob rule!  This erroneous belief astounds when remembering generations of young Americans reciting, every morning, the Pledge of Allegiance in each and every classroom, voicing the phrase “and to the Republic.”  This change illustrates the capability of false doctrines and the damage that a steady diet of misinformation can and usually does produce.

America is currently at a dangerous precipice, which emphasizes our desperate need to regroup and protect our Country, so that future generations may live in freedom.  The strengthening of this mission is aided through a firm belief in His Teachings and thankfulness for His Blessings.  Our beliefs must become second nature so that this state of unknowing, one which abides by the adage, “if you don’t believe in something, you’ll believe in anything,” will never happen again!  Never!  The America our Forefathers sacrificed for, and the America of which God created, demands this of us!
