No one reading these pages will likely be surprised by this, but I am not sharing it to breach some previously unknown territory. @TheLaurenChen shared an observation on X that seems obvious to anyone who has spent any amount of time paying any amount of attention to those nasty Libs.
“The left doesn’t actually oppose crime or violence on principle.” Not only do they not, but they also can’t. Crime and violence are a feature of their political agenda. Necessary to achieve one-party rule, and essential to keeping it. Not news, so why bring it up? It was how Lauren explored the realization that is worth your time and attention.
I’ve come to realize the left doesn’t actually oppose crime or violence on principle. They only oppose it when it hurts their own agenda or allies. Otherwise, they actually cheer it on when it’s inflicted upon their enemies, or just ignore it when it can’t be exploited.
For example, killing is good when it’s a health insurance CEO or Charlie Kirk. But it’s bad if it’s Renee Good or George Floyd (for the purpose of this argument, we will assume, as leftists do, that George Floyd was actually killed and did not OD). And killing doesn’t register at all when it’s someone like Iryna Zarutska being murdered by a black man. The same goes with violence and crime as a whole. Violence against ICE is good. However, violence against ICE protestors is bad. And violence between black gangs is simply unimportant.
Lauren rightly describes that crime and violence are tools. I’d add to that deception, defrauding taxpayers, selectively enforcing or ignoring laws, and violating/spitting on and/or invoking the Constitution.
Circumstances, parties involved, and outcomes, especially.
Women (for example) are sacred and autonomous if they want to end the lives of unborn babies. They can, at any point in any intimate encounter, deny consent. We are to believe them, and view that body as off limits…unless the infringement comes from a prominent asset to the political left, is a boy or a man pretending to be a girl or a woman, or the State requires them to accept the injection of an emergency substance (in the name of public health) to which they cannot possibly give informed consent.
Not all Democrats are like this, but Party leadership and their unhinged, (increasingly) purple-haired (wine-drinking, cat-lady) foot soldiers are demendted, mustache-twirling bastards willing to throw anyone under any bus if it advances the right narrative or accumulates power in the right hands.
Again, for the leftist, the justification for crime and violence comes not from “why,” but from “who.” And so, why does this matter? Why is this worth discussing? It matters because, as we saw with Charlie Kirk, regardless of how law abiding or moral you may otherwise be, as long as you are conservative, it means the left will support any and all violence or theft that befalls you. Unfortunately, the justification for harming you comes from who you are: their enemy. This phenomenon also explains the leftist indifference to the crimes of minority groups, like Somalis, or trans people, or illegal immigrants, or whatever other protected class. Put simply, in the left’s belief system, if a crime happens, but there’s no way to use it to gain political power, has it even really happened at all?
One more point, before the X post. Democrats who are not wholly infected by or on board with this Machiavellian psychosis but who vote Democrat anyway are complicit in the chaos their votes aid and abet.
You cannot distance yourself from this by insisting that it is better than electing Republicans. The worst Republican is, in many ways, if not all of them, exponentially better for everyone than almost any Democrat running for or elected office. Republicans, after all, are allowed to disagree with the party or its priorities.
And a Democrat would walk over your dead body, after directly or indirectly causing your untimely end (see also Renee Good), to preach more violence and retribution – in their pursuit of unassailable, absolute political power.
They’d burn down black businesses, harm children, see women raped and murdered, and not only ignore but hide minority and immigrant communities killing each other, over circumstances they created and catalyzed, if it meant winning elected office.
Crime and violence that advance their political goals are good. They cannot achieve their one-party state without it. And once they have everyone, including those who helped them get their, will become their victims.
