The World, at least the USA and mainstream media, was aflutter last week when the Capitalist met the Communist (a self-described Democrat socialist). The expected fireworks never developed, and, instead, mutual respect was seen on TV, which stunned all the pseudo-intellectual commentators that plague our media. I could name the “NAMES” but that would be counter-productive since everyone knows who the “naysayers” are. Instead, let’s take a look at what the Capitalist and the Communist accomplished:
- They engaged in a civil conversation, giving the Republirats and the Demolitioncrats an example of how to engage productively for the good of the USA and our future generations!
- They promoted policies that would allow New York City to succeed because as goes NYC, the greatest City in the world, so goes the USA!
- The Capitalist actively helped the Communist deal with the nasty, mean-spirited questions the White House Press Corp directed at the Communist–of course, I mean President Donald Trump and Mayor-elect Zohran Kwame Mamdani.
Whether this denouement will continue is known only to God! We should all pray for the sake of our children and grandchildren that this political accommodation succeeds.
Gavin Newsom, please take notice! Rather than sneaking in and out of the Oval Office, maybe give President Trump a call! The President loves California as much as he loves NYC. We call it the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
