Continuing on from Part 2 was NH State Representative John Burt who has been one of the most solid legislators in the NH House on the issue of restoring this foundational Right of being able to keep and bear arms. This, to many on the Right, isn’t just about things made of metal, plastic, and some explosive powders, it is a proxy for the level of Freedom and Liberty that Government “allows”. I am an originalist / literalist more and more – we either read what is in our Constitutions (no more, no less) and follow it when crafting laws, or anything goes. I applaud John for taking on this fight – and winning. I also will be quite interested in how his new NH House organization, the Second Amendment Caucus, will do in upholding this restored Right against those that hate the Constitutional strictures on their legislative actions (the non-stop actions by Progressives by remolding NH into a Socialist State where arms are highly restricted if allowed at all, right Katherine Rogers?)
