Back on January, 9th, 2013, I remarked on a report by WMUR News 9 about an online poll. Why? Because, when the comments got nasty, the largest television media outlet in the state at the time chose, of all people, New Hampshire Democrat House Rep Cynthia Chase for her thoughts.

Chase became known nationally just days earlier for saying this about Free Staters.

“What we can do is to make the environment here so unwelcoming that some will choose not to come, and some may actually leave. One way is to pass measures that will restrict freedoms that they think they will find here.”

So what happened when WMUR came knocking?

…Chase declined to comment.  She fears for the safety of her family.

And what did I say in response?

I don’t want Ms. Chase to feel afraid,  but I wonder how safe average citizens were feeling when an elected representative of their state government (Ms. Chase) suggested using the powers of the police state to intimidate her perceived political opponents?

Remembering stuff is fun, isn’t it?

Here are a few more links related to the now fearful Mz Chase.
