The Boise State women’s volleyball team has forfeited an upcoming match against San Jose State University (SJSU) amid controversy over a male member of that team.
It’s about time to Fight The Man (literally if you remember what that meant back in the day). Heh – real women are starting to Fight The Patriarchy (isn’t this fun, using the Left’s language against themselves?). We’re seeing it here in NH at the High School level when varsity-level girls will not show up when post-puberty boys will play against them.
Why should they – the game is already rigged against them? Even the female School Board members want men to dominate girls’ sports (right, Gilford School Board Nicole Hogan and Kearsarge Superintendent Marcy Kelly?)
And I think this is going to become a “thing,” given the awful spectacle of watching two men in Olympic Boxing knock the snot out of their biological female competitors leading up to and for the Gold medals. Talk about erasing women from their sports (note that I’m using that nasty emotional blackmail word directly from the Trans-Authoritarians who use it all the time).
So biological female athletes have finally figured it out – the way to win this war is to sit out the battles, so to speak (reformatted, emphasis mine):
Boise State released a statement to Outkick announcing their decision.
“Boise State volleyball will not play its scheduled match at San José State on Saturday, Sept. 28,” the statement said. “Per Mountain West Conference policy, the Conference will record the match as a forfeit and a loss for Boise State. The Broncos will next compete on Oct. 3 against Air Force.”
Boise State is the second team to forfeit a match against San Jose State this month.
While Boise State’s statement did not explicitly mention the male athlete, it is known that Blaire Fleming, a transgender player who transferred from Coastal Carolina, is on the San Jose State roster.
And yes, valuing Principles is a higher calling than just winning a match. We used to be a nation that was totally about principles and norms until Progressives turned them inside out (right, Nicole Hogan and Marcy Kelly?).
…“Some principles transcend winning on the court, and the safety and well-being of female athletes is one of them. It’s encouraging to witness a growing number of institutions prioritizing fairness and athlete safety over forced inclusion. I hope to see more universities follow the lead of Boise State and Southern Utah, standing up for what’s right and protecting the integrity of women’s sports.”
“Inclusion” – the Social Justice Warrior/Trans-Authoritarian definition is “excluding anyone that doesn’t think or bow down to our ideology – either willingly or submitting to us because we’ll make your lives a living hell if you don’t.”
Fortunately, it seems that Benjamin Franklin’s words are getting a new life:
We must all hang together or we will all hang separately,”
It seems, more and more, that there is a movement with female (not boys thinking they are girls or boys just gaming the system) athletes to use their Powers against the Man.
What’s the Man going to do when all the other women walk away from him?
