TODAY, for the first day in months, I did not receive a single political mailer. However, the GOTV (Get Out The Vote) machines all cranked up but I was surprised that I only got 8 calls: 1 call to vote from Kasich, 3 from the Donald, and 4 from Cruz.
I just got back from voting (Yes, I voted for Ted Cruz) – had to drive around the lot 3 times before I could park. Lots of new registrations out the door. Place was packed with voters standing in line. There are about 7,400 people in my hamlet, 5,700 voters (+/-), and already over 3,000 have voted by the time I got there at 5:20pm. I was surprised that there was only 1 poll watcher (from New Day – Kasich’s PAC).
It looks like turnout should meet NH SecState estimates of a record number of voters casting their ballots.
