As the vaccine jabs continue here in NH (21% or so “fully vaccinated and 40% or so with the”first jab”), we are STILL hearing that masks are going to be “forever.”

That according to “Luminaries” like Dr. Fauci (a post on that coming up in a few), we’ll be wearing them well into 2022 if he has his way.
President Asterisk is trying to tell us that we are UNpatriotic if we don’t wear the face mask and commenter Bruce keeps hectoring us that we are obligated, almost by law and certainly by the Progressives vaunted “social contract” (of which I have NEVER seen a copy, much less one with my signature on it which would make it a legal document).
It is clear that our Ruling Class Elites are going to be making the demand for us to be donning a bikinied niqāb for a long while. Some have argued it is for our protection the public’s protection a sign of conformity.
Even with about 25% of NH’s population fully vaccinated in a short couple of months – and now with full appointment rollups – that pace is just increasing.
And the pressure to “mask up” will not be relenting any time soon. So, a story.
I have not offered any of my stories, as others have, for not wanting to appear as self-serving. But I mostly go into places with a mask, especially if TMEW is with me (she has fallen for the WMUR’s panic-porn) but often without as many of you know.
Yesterday, I did go into a large chain grocery store wearing my placard. While a few people did look at me, not one person gave me the hairy eyeball over not wearing a mask. Not even the employees and not even customers going the wrong way in the aisles (even the one at the deli counter).
I’ve grown weary of having to do the WuFlu bugaloo quick step by going around and around the “right” aisles to simply quickly grab an item on the “wrong way” aisle. So I quit doing it q while ago and not one person even glanced at me yesterday.
Was it my placard as it was swinging side to side (I am a very quick walker compared to most of the older folks that were in the store at the time)? Or just that everyone is just tired of this whole kabuki theater. Dunno, but it was out there for full display.
And then onto the local big box office supply store – I wanted more placards made up for this upcoming GrokMeetup (plug: Revolution Taproom in Rochester, this Sunday, 5-8 pm). I walked in and went straight to the printing area. The young lady…

looked up and asked what I needed (and yes, I maintained a distance from her). Having just given her the printed copy of the GraniteGrok Mandatory Mask Medical Exemption and a thumb drive with its JPG file, she asked if I had a mask to put on. I held out the placard I was wearing and said I had a medical issue. Then told her that I was here to create more copies and pointed to what she had in her hand. She looked down and went “that’s ok if you have a medical issue” and we just continued the process of getting more copies printed and laminated.
This time, it was the placard. And remember, all it has on it is Gov. Sununu’s own words in his Emergency Order that outline all of the exceptions to his own order. as well as the NH Constitution’s Article 2-B that states that “[Art.] 2-b. [Right of Privacy.] An individual’s right to live free from governmental intrusion in private or personal information is natural, essential, and inherent.”
So, they are still available!
