The Trump Doctrine Leads to Peace and Prosperity

Just in time for the Presidential debates, Trump is locking up a third Nobel Peace Prize nomination. Negotiations between Israel and Palestine may be stalling. But, peace is breaking out all over the region. The Abraham accords are realigning the regional balance of power.

Change is in the air. The likelihood is Iran may be out in the cold. Too bad, right?

Results matter

Kosovo and Serbia have restored their relations. Kosovo and Serbia are more grateful than the American Left. They may rename a disputed reservoir after Trump in honor of the conclusion of more than 20 years of hostility.

The Trump plan for America is Peace and Prosperity.

The Saudi’s are now allowing Israeli air traffic to fly through their airspace. This may be the beginning of other good things to come. And we are hearing between 6 and 9 other nations are thinking about getting on board with Peace. Who thought peace in the Middle East would be Trump talking point? Pleasantly surprised? We all are.

The Trump plan for America is Peace and Prosperity.

Remember Trump’s refusal to go into Iran ‘guns blazing.’ That was the Bolton preference. Then there was the military drawdown in the region, remember that? Remember Trump’s willingness to speak to hostile powers. North Korea and Trump’s ability to discuss the possibility of a way forward. Will there be a Peace dividend? Elect Biden and we’ll never know.

Do you see Biden negotiating such things, let alone succeeding?

President Trump affirms strength and isn’t afraid to use the military in certain, limited contexts.

We have done so in dispossessing ISIS, a limited strike on Assad, reducing Soleimani to a fine red mist. But Trump is happy to draw down our forces. Most especially when remaining there in harm’s way no longer serves any national interest.

Do you envision Biden standing up to anything?

The praise

“The Trump doctrine is something extraordinary, as are so many things that Donald Trump does. He’s guided by two things that seem to be absent from so many politicians. Trump has firstly, common sense and he is only guided by a national interest, and therefore, in our circumstances, an interest in the Western Alliance.

“He went ahead and negotiated against all advice, but he did it with common sense. He negotiated directly with the Arab states concerned and Israel and brought them together,” Australian law professor David Flint told Sky News Australia, lauding the president for his “Trump Doctrine” foreign policies.

“What he has done with the Trump Doctrine is that he has decided that he would no longer have America involved in endless wars, wars which achieve nothing but the killing of thousands of young Americans,” Flint added.

…Law professors and members of Parliament can nominate a person for the esteemed prize. Flint joined three other Australian legal scholars in nominating the president on the basis of his “Trump Doctrine.”

“So he’s reducing America’s tendency to get involved in any and every war,” Flint added. “The states are lining up, Arab and Middle Eastern, to join that network of peace which will dominate the Middle East.”

“He is really producing peace in the world in a way in which none of his predecessors did, and he fully deserves the Nobel Peace Prize.”Examiner
