NH State Rep – Speeding Laws are for the Little People

by

NOTE: From 1983/84 – representative of what I saw only. I was on my way to Rte 93 (Exit 20) a bit ago and I noticed a car with a bunch of stickers on the back end:

I caught the driver (an older person, white hair) speeding on Rte 3 in Belmont (and speeding, pretty much, to Exit 20 in Tilton) at 50 mph pretty much. The speed limit is 40 from just on the other side (from Laconia) Mosquito Bridge (crossing Winnisquam Lake) to exit 20 and 35mph before that. Again, why is it that Democrats feel safe that they can ignore laws that we little people would get bagged for?

And yes, that Blue Prius, had a license plate with 2-53, meaning it was a New Hampshire State Representative vanity plate. Since the license plates run off the seat numbers they are assigned in the legislature up popped NH State Rep Christy D. Bartlett (D, Merrimack 19 – Concord). Seat #2053.

Was it her?  I can’t swear to it – when s/he passed me at the stoplight I was turning left into BJ’s and the Prius went straight. I had about a second to peer into the car and it was not a definitive view. But it does seem to be hers.

Note: no image of the car – no chance at a “stop” and I had no passenger to take a snapshot for me. Sorry.
