We’ve run out of money. Well, not quite, but we are the brokest nation in the world’s history and the Government “smaht” people haven’t learned the lesson of that old Fram Oil commercial:

I’ll never end of paying for it….but your grandkids, as well as mine, certainly will. Don’t get excited about receiving more money from Govt – it’s but a facade. Both parties have now shown a willingness to believe in Modern Monetary Theory (which isn’t modern and the theory as been debunked by history) – effectively, the Govt can print any amount of money it wants. Hey, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is in favor of it – what can go wrong?
This much:
$26 Trillion. A few years ago, we were talking about the national debt in “single digit” trillions (is that even a “thing”?). My God, we are a wastrel people.
