Persian Gulf Pissing Contest Round (1,986,554,021): Iran Says it Will Destroy US Warships!

In response to what we reported a few hours ago: “Trump Gives US Navy A-OK to Make Martyrs if Iranian Gun Boats Harass Them Again,Iran has responded. With a very belligerent, Oh yeah!?

Iran on Thursday hit back at President Trump’s declaration to the Pentagon to retaliate against Iranian ships that harass U.S. ships in the Persian Gulf, and said its navy will “destroy” American ships if threatened. …

“I have ordered our naval forces to destroy any American terrorist force in the Persian Gulf that threatens security of Iran’s military or non-military ships,” Major General Hossein Salami told state-television.

Of course they said that, but can anyone believe anything anyone says on “State Television”? Wait, was it the CNN desk in Tehran?

State television. Nice. The Death to America Network. And oh, by the way, we still plan to destroy the infidels in the US Navy. But now we mean it!

I’m not begging for escalation, but don’t you have to sort of kind of want to see American Warships just crack the corner on a can of whoop-ass?

Iranian Gunboats engage, the US responds as promised. Iran has to do something back, so they do, and then the Fleet lets a little extra firepower out of the barn.

Sometimes you want to get a look at what you’re paying for, am I wrong? Who better to showcase it on than the world’s leading sponsor of terrorism?

Just a thought.
