Show me Your Friends and I’ll Show You Your Future

There’s an old saying, “Show me your friends and I’ll show you your future.” There is wide reporting that China has millions of people in prisons/concentration camps. Yet, it had the gall to use its state-controlled media this week to attack America’s commitment to its Second Amendment.

The Global Times is a branch of Chinese state-run media. In it China published an op-ed in which it called private gun ownership a “serious problem.”

China on the American Second Amendment

It did not stop there. The Chinese press went further asserting there needs to be “change.” The leadership of China seems to feel they need to insert themselves into domestic American politics. What do you think? Is China a society we should emulate? Should China be involved in how the American public views “private ownership of guns?”

The Global Times op-ed came after a guy with a gun in Texas stopped a shooting in a church.  China mocked the United States, saying that “shootings are shocking in a US allegedly governed by law…” Here’s an excerpt from the op-ed:

“Private gun ownership is a tradition from the early days at the founding of the US. In a modern society, the problems created by this tradition have already exceeded the benefits. …

American society has already seen serious problems caused by the private ownership of guns, but their massive number has contributed to an enormous inertia. Many interest groups have benefited from it and some ordinary people have truly gained a sense of safety. To change this habit which has lasted hundreds of years, tremendous political courage and a rearrangement of interests is required.

Facts have proved that the US system is unable to handle the intricacies of countless issues around guns including politics, economics, law and order and public psychology. The country can neither manage the safe storage and use of so many guns owned by ordinary people, nor can it establish a new national system that bans or strictly restricts guns. It cannot even form an overwhelming opinion regarding gun issues.”

China’s attack on the Second Amendment comes hot on the heels of Hong Kong protesters requests for their own Second Amendment. Why is it the Hong Kong protestors feel the need? Could it be the people feel a threat coming from their own government? Do they have a real need to defend themselves from the oppressive communist Chinese government? Why is it oppressed people around the world find value where oppressive regimes see only threat? There’s an old saying, “Show me your friends and I’ll show you your future.”

Xi Jinping = Chairman Mao

The Wall Street Journal reported on Saturday that Chinese dictator Xi Jinping had received a title that has been reserved for Communist China’s founder, Mao Zedong. Chairman Mao remains the most prolific mass murderer in human history. Here’s an excerpt from the WSJ piece:

“During a two-day meeting that ended Friday, chaired by Mr. Xi, the party’s 25-member Politburo hailed his policies as visionary and described him as the renmin lingxiu, or “people’s leader,” a designation that directly echoes an accolade most closely associated with Communist China’s founder Mao Zedong.”

Does socialist America really aspire to Chinese style communism? Do you?

Why is it none of America’s socialist elite speak up when such things occur? Have you heard AOC ask, If Chairman Xi is the “people’s leader,” who are the people? Where is Rashida Tlaib when Chairman Xi talks about “the people?” He doesn’t mean the Uyghurs in torture camps. Where is Ilhan Omar when Chairman Xi talks about “the people? He doesn’t mean the Falun Gong prisoners whose organs the Chinese government harvests.

Where is Bernie Sanders when Chairman Xi talks about “the people?” He doesn’t mean the baby girls who were left to die under China’s one-child policy. Where is Joe Biden when Chairman Xi talks about “the people?” He means what every communist before him has meant: not the people but the communist party.

There is a reason why American Democrats put party before municipality, state and nation. Don’t believe that? Look at their debate stage. Do you see an American flag there? What country are their candidates campaigning to govern? Do they want to govern or rule? Why are peaceful citizens with guns seen as threats? Have you considered why they always couch their arguments against the guns not the people? The ends do justify the means in their world.

We are watching… Are we just letting it happen?

We have been watching as the communist nation, China, has locked millions of Muslims in concentration camps. That is wrong. The Chinese are harvesting organs from detainees. That is wrong. China has created a massive surveillance state with the help of Google. That is hugely concerning. China is attempting to export the system to countries around the world… including the United States. Do you Grok what is going on here? There’s an old saying, “Show me your friends and I’ll show you your future.”
