Let me be clear: by “underneath”, I don’t mean under handed. I just meant while his tweets and his off-the-cuff speeches keep everyone looking at those “Shiny Objects” while he is accomplishing a lot underneath everyone’s radar (especially our “vaunted” MSM that he ties up in knots on just a mere whim). Guess which is the Shiny Object and what is the “underneath”?
He’s not even to his last year of his first term so that 20% is YUGE by any standard. He stormed the high ramparts of the Liberals, the Judiciary – and blown a large hole in that wall. He’s already flipped most of the higher courts (Circuit, Appeal) and is continuing to do so. He’s now aiming at the lower District courts.
It doesn’t matter if he is impeached right now (and even removed from office). It may not matter that he isn’t re-elected. He’s made more changes to the Third Co-equal Branch of Government than anyone else since our Founding (and the first few years following it). He’s put folks that HONOR their oaths to protect the Constitution as written, as the legal document it is, and deciding by the black and white letter of the Law.
