Bernie Sanders: “If we expanded Medicaid [to] everybody…we would bankrupt the nation.”

by Steve MacDonald

Bernie Sanders Communist FistJeanne Shaheen probably isn’t worried about her support of Bernie Sanders 2017 Medicaid for everyone plan, but Bernie Sanders was–30 years ago.

Back in 1987, a much younger Bernie Sanders apparently had that sense too. He warned that expanding Medicaid, the jointly run federal-state health care program for the poor and disabled, to everyone in the country would “bankrupt the nation.”

“If we expanded Medicaid [to] everybody. Give everybody a Medicaid card—we would be spending such an astronomical sum of money that, you know, we would bankrupt the nation.”

The math hasn’t changed. It would still bankrupt the country. So, did the socialism finally corrupt whatever passed for Bernie’s conscience or is he, like most Democrat Socialists, just trying to check another failed party policy prescription off the bucket list?

If you listen to entire clip after Bernie explains that based on our current system in the US if everyone had government funded healthcare it would bankrupt the nation he goes on to extol the virtues of the Canadian system.
The most logical follow up question to Bernie after that would be; Then why the Fu*k don’t you move to Canada then?
The answer is of course the he won’t, because Communism is a world-wide movement and the objective is that it wont work unless EVERY NATION ascribes to it.

Sanders and Warren are nothing but demagogues pushing socialism at every opportunity. The cost of Sanders’ “Medicare for all” would be $2.8 trillion per year. The day single payer becomes the rule of the land is the day America files for bankruptcy and the liberal storm troopers take over.
