Good morning and welcome to your Thursday, June 18th, 2026 morning update.
The headline is Leftist Professor Goes Viral by Admitting the Hard Truth. Trump has destroyed their dreams and the Democrat Party too. He is referring to Dan Kervick, who is a philosophy professor at St. Anselm’s College. A hop, skip, and a jump up the road from where I am recording this right now.
Kervick is a Commie, I guess- a self-described socialist internationalist- and he posted something on X; I imagine he’s probably on Blue Sky too- that ⁓ got a lot of attention. He said, We’ve lost Venezuela, we might lose Cuba. The conditions of Palestine are desperate. Global climate action is dead. Techno fascists are running everything. The US left is magafied populist trash in possession of zero Brain power.
I don’t know that I would say the leftist populist whatever have or had any brain power. I mean their entire mission, no matter where they show their multiple faces, is to turn everything into shit. That’s their priority. I mean, socialism is just communism and Marxism without the ability to basically take everybody’s stuff. They’re having a rough couple of years. He’s taken Venezuela away from them. He’s threatening to take Cuba away from them. All sorts of globalist control mechanisms are falling apart. So what about this magafied trash that he’s talking about?
According to the author of the article in the Western Journal, it’s not the embracement of Trump’s position, but they’re trying to appropriate his populist tactics and rhetoric, having a Trump playbook of their own.
Prominent Democrats via X have tried memes, clapbacks, disparaging nicknames, and generally a more elementary level of engagement with the public through social media to go tit for tat with Trump. They’re trying to create a sort of left-wing Trumpism.
But they don’t have anything to run on. They’re running on hating Trump. They’re running on not being Trump. They did that in 2024. Could they have done any better with something other than the trash can candidate Kamala Harris? I mean, they just picked her out of the litter and said, This is our Girl.
Ha, that didn’t work out very well for him, did it? They lost every single swing state and the popular vote. And since then, they continue to run on the exact same thing. Every time Mr Trump does something, they oppose it. They don’t like it. They hate it. They protest it. They’re very negative. What did I say yesterday about the problem with the Democrat Party and why it was ruining modern women?
They’re based on anxiety, trauma, and existential dread. Well, that isn’t much different from what they’re doing now.
One X User posted a photo of the opening ceremonies of the UFC event on the South Lawn of the White House.
Something you have to remember about the left is that their agenda relies on demoralization. Making our citizens feel bad about our nation is the only way they’ll accept the leftist agenda. That’s why things like last night, referring to the UFC event on the South Lawn, which put the greatness of America on full display, are so upsetting to them.

It makes you feel good about your country. It makes you feel good about where we are, about how we’re powerful, we’re influential. We aren’t just here to be kicked around by other countries. We’re not their ATM. We are not their bitches. While the left has wanted to turn us into a money machine for everybody else on the planet, all of whom hate us, Mr. Trump has made the point that America is for Americans and we should be proud of it.
And we should do things that make it wealthier, stronger, and a heck of a lot more fun to live in than anywhere else in the world. Mr. Kervick has a problem, and he’s right. The left has no intellectual firepower, but that doesn’t mean they can’t win by hating Donald Trump and everything he does. The only people who can stop that from happening are you and I.
