One name particularly stood out from the list of Republicans who have publicly endorsed a Democrat for NH State Senate that Steve posted:
Hon. Susan Emerson, Rindge
That would be the same Susan Emerson who, a few years ago, decided that she would be perfect to be the next NH GOP Chair. Think about that for a moment. This is a person that professed such allegiance to the Party and its principles that she wanted to lead it. El Jefe, making the decisions and being the face of the Party but voting more in line with the Dems than with the Republicans (hey, sit her down with Scott Brown!). And remember, if the SEIU (THE Govt union here in NH) endorsed her, there’s a good reason for it and not a Republican one. Given that, perhaps she should be honest with herself (and us) become a Dem….
Now, there is a group within the NH GOP that is unsatisfied with the top level candidates and demanding more from our candidates – and from the Party. We demand excellence – but are excoriated for it. Yet, nary a word have we heard from Party Central or the Party Pooh-bahs about Ms. Emerson. Doesn’t that tell a story, eh?
