On the occasion of the day of the week being Friday, I sometimes go over to WMUR‘s Political Scoop to see what Pindell is yakking about in NH politics. Hey, it’s what we political bloggers do here in NH and everywhere else – find a story and take a riff off it or a fisking from it. And we always try to remember to give attribution, either explicitly or via a link.
So Pindell often asks a series of questions, and this Friday, he asks a question that shows that his preconceived notion is showing a bias that has blinkered him as a reporter, for he has made an assumption:
Why are Tea Party types having a third gun rally this Saturday instead of a tax rally for tax day?
It’s late, so I’ll answer his question tomorrow or on Sunday but I will leave two phrases to hang out there: superficial knowledge or foundational understanding.
Hint: maybe the name of the rally, “Honor Your Oath” should have been a tip off?
