I drove down here to DC yesterday for AFP’s Defending the American Dream Summit 2012. There’s a packed agenda for sure, and I have some slots tomorrow (10 – 2pm) and on Saturday ( 8 – 3pm) for the ‘Grok to be on Radio Row so am hoping nab some good interviews. I’ll put up “sticky posts” when we go live.
Given what is going on in NH on the Sustainable Communities Initiative (aka, Smart Growth, Granite State Future Plan, Water Sustainability Commission) that has been breaking here on the ‘Grok, and with…
the revelation of what author Stanley Kurtz new book is pointing out (Grokster Tom has a post developing on this VERY important news), I wanted some video asking “man on the street” interviews what their American Dream is.
Fat chance – now I know why politicians leave DC in August and why I live in the Live Free or Die state – it is FREAKING hot and humid. I wanted to go to a park 5 blocks from here – after 2, I looked like I had just stepped out the shower with my clothes on. I beat feet back to the air conditioned room. Ah – the niceties of modern living (which would disappear if the true believer Watermelon Environmentalists got their way).
Oh wait – can we just UN-air condition Congress and the White House?
