Modern ‘Episcopal’ Family

Shield_of_the_US_Episcopal_Church.svgNew Hampshire Episcopal Bishop Gene Robinson is retiring.  His successor was chosen from these three candidates.

William W. Rich, senior associate rector for Christian Formation at Trinity Episcopal Church in Boston; A Homosexual man married to a man.

Penelope Maud Bridges, rector of St. Francis Episcopal Church in Great Falls, Va.:A divorced woman.

Rev. A. Robert Hirschfeld, 50, of Grace Church in Amherst (MA): A Heterosexual man.

Not your Fathers Episcopal Church anymore is it?  Not even when they choose the heterosexual guy.

Before anyone jumps to the rash conclusion that the people of New Hampshire have ignored the voice of the spirit and stubbornly elected a heterosexual in an act of unrepentant rebellion, let me assure everyone that as Integrity is quick to reassure us,  at least Rev. Rob is a trusted friend of the LGBT movement.

(if you follow the link)…

The bishop-elect has a strong record of support for marriage equality and is a trusted friend of the  LGBT movement, and we are eager to work with him in the years ahead as we continue to move the church from “Resolution to reality: making all mean ALL!”

We here at the Grok look forward to observing the continued circus-like environment as ‘Bishop’ Hirschfeld helps New Hampshire’s Episcopalians, along with the other social justice churches, continue to evolve the scripture and their collectivist missions, and the no doubt warm embrace of the deep pocketed gay-lobby, to disguise socialist/progressive activism  as anything but the political lefts systematic consumption and destruction of its arch-nemesis–Judeo-Christian Faith.
