“…to spend wisely, reform bad habits, and do our business in the light of day–“

Government that doesn't work - and wastes billions, by Barack ObamaAs I consider the long string of abuses by the Obama government, the lobbyists, the gun running, the massive debt, the lack of transparency, the lack of a realistic Budget for three years (a Democrat Senate that wont propose or pass any budget), and the most recent abuses exposed at the GSA and the Secret Service Prostitution scandals, I am reminded of these words from Mr. Obama’s inauguration speech.

The question we ask today is not whether our government is too big or too small, but whether it works — (…) And those of us who manage the public’s dollars will be held to account — to spend wisely, reform bad habits, and do our business in the light of day — because only then can we restore the vital trust between a people and their government.

-Barack Obama

How’s that working out?
