New Hampshire’s own Kelly Ayotte was selected to provide this week’s Republican Weekly Address, in response to President Obama’s Weekly Address.
It’s quite clear that Kelly is being groomed for future success. It is great to see a member of New Hampshire’s Congressional delegation getting so much attention and respect.
While it’s great that Kelly is being brought into the fold of Washington Republican influence, I hope that she stays true to the spirit of New Hampshire 2010, which gave Republicans a clear and open opportunity to do the right thing, saving our Nation from impending fiscal collapse, through an egregious and blatant expansion of government intrusion.
So far, Kelly is doing a great job. We’ll be watching her upcoming votes, and those of the rest of the Senate and House, very, very closely. She should rest assured that if she stays on the vigilant and difficult path of honoring the US Constitution, keeping a pro-Liberty posture, and protecting the best interests of the State of New Hampshire, we’ll all be 100% behind her, holding the "she did the right thing" banner in the face of critical enemy fire.
If you sense a little bit of trepidation about my expectations for the future, you would be right – we’ve seen Republicans rush towards DC in the past, with a full head of Conservative steam, only to compromise, or worse, abandon the principles of common sense. We’re all hoping for the best, and begin this year with an open mind and a positive outlook, but also with very high expectations.
Happy New Year to Senator Ayotte and her family, and to all who value and dedicate themselves to preserving a bright future for New Hampshire and the United States.
