It is at these times when we find the truth– unvarnished and unfiltered through the gatekeepers of mainstream media. Here is a note passed along to me about a recent such encounter …
Good afternoon – I just wanted to share a story that happened this past weekend with a Gold Star Mother….
Elizabeth Edwards was at an event at 218 Main Street in Wolfboro - The Gold Star Mom introduced herself and told her that her son was KIA last year.

The Mom then asked "If your husband is elected President, how would he continue to support our troops and their mission"?

Mrs. Edwards said "What do you mean by mission"?
.
I said "They started a job and they need to finish it."
.
Her response was "The mission is over!!" She went on to say that there were "No weapons of Mass Destruction found and Saddam is out of power" She said that "The American and British troops were a destabilizing factor and that as long as they are there, there will be no peace." She said that he (her husband) would cap the manpower and stop all offensive action. He would redeploy the troops out of Iraq. It will give me great pleasure when it’s finally announced the Edwards campaign "is over!" Can you imagine how our enemies must be salivating over the prospects of a Democrat win next November?
