Watching Vermont spiral in the blue toilet water is not enjoyable. Sure, it is a TRE, and when the legislature is in session, we get a lot of low-hanging fruit. It is sad to observe the real-time decline and fall of a state founded by a rebel militia that fought against big government tyranny. Vermont has since banned militias except for Antifa, which is a very Democrat thing to do, but it’s hard to beat Britain, where the battle against the #woke elite multi-culti-climate culture appears to be lost.
You’ve likely heard that you are more likely to get arrested for objecting to wandering foreign-born rape gangs than being a foreigner who participated in a gang rape. That’s community policing, I guess, which means if your family is from the community, you get policed, and the state-run media chastises you for your bigotry or xenophobia.
Not much hope, especially when BBC talking heads, where the news has been gutted of any semblance of impartiality. Bias runs the joint. Unapproved opinions are unacceptable.
BBC News presenter Martine Croxall has had a complaint against her about her delivery of a news report in June of this year on health precautions to be taken during a heatwave. Offered up the phrase “pregnant people” in the script on her teleprompter, Croxall was observed to give a glance of frustration with the eyes before correcting to say “women”. She said: “the aged, pregnant people — women — and those with pre-existing health conditions need to take precautions.”
The Executive Complaints UNit (ECU) said it found not only the act itself, but the fact Croxall had received congratulations from other members of the public for daring to say what some might think of as being the obvious was the proof that she had indeed expressed a “controversial view about trans people”. The body said those who had made complaints said they interpreted Croxall’s facial expression as “showing disgust, ridicule, contempt or exasperation.”
That slight widening of the eyes was so hurtful. You vill punish her or vee vill be forced to vatch zee other government-run news programs. Hail Starmer!
It sounds and looks ridiculous from this side of The Pond, but that’s what America’s progressives, our socialist, globalist elites, would have here. They aren’t even all that shy about it anymore.
